I can't wait to play this.
lol same here. I'd be in the doghouse for months.
Wouldn't just a video of Carmen Electra pole-dancing sell equally well? Why does it have to be a videogame?
"Next gen consists of more than just FPSs"
Ninteno licensed USB and filesystem middleware from eSOL for the Wii a long time ago. I suspect this job listing is more hardware-focused.
I don't think it's dead, it's just not the optimal control interface for every type of game (just as the d-pad isn't optimal for every type of game). It's great for first-person games (Metroid Prime 3 controlled far more intuitively and much less cumbersome than d-pads provide) but are not so great for fighting games.
I'm ALL over this game.
ninjas > pirates
Wouldn't simply wearing ankle weights around your wrists accomplish something very similar to what the dumbbell attachments are intended to provide? Plus, ankle weights wouldn't cover any buttons and some are weight-expandable. Other than the dumbbell attachments tho, I see nothing bad about this title as of yet.
A lot of respectable exceptions actually...
Ya that translation's pretty rough. I eagerly await other gaming news outlets to provide a more proper translation. Either way from what I understand, this is great news.
You must've missed the recent Tenchu and Fatal Frame news.
I'm not too interested in this title (not a huge baseball fan), but I just think it's hilarious how some ppl consider games w/ the same characters but entirely different gameplay to be rehashes but then get hyped over the next FPS and racing sim as if it'll bring something significantly new to the table.
You somewhat echo my initial and current sentiments that the long-run success of the WiiWare service will depend on whether Nintendo releases an external storage solution, but you bring up a good point that the ability to play games straight off of an SD card would make a huge positive difference.
Nintendo licensed USB storage and filesystem middleware from eSOL a long time ago, and we've yet to see anything come of it. I'd much prefer the ability to use standard USB drives as s...
ROFL I've never witnessed anyone so reluctant to embrace a piece of technology, let alone one considered to be so mass-market and user-friendly. Classic.
I laughed and doubted when Sega said that Mario and Sonic at the Olympics would sell millions, and I totally ate my words. I've since refrained from making such pessimistic predictions lol. I will not be surprised if this title sells extremely well.
The main reason I'd get Bomberman would be to play online matches, and I would think ppl in my position would just lean toward getting the WiiWare version instead of the full retail game.
I'm all about this. User-generated content is one of the waves of the future in gaming.
Are these minutes meant to be time spent using the console or time spent actually playing games on the console? The article text uses the word "play time" for these figures but the chart accompanying the article uses "console minutes" and "session length". All three consoles allow users to do things other than play games.
Price has nothing to do w/ whether a game is shovelware or not. Some of the best Wii games are $30.
FPS does still mean frames per second. It all depends on context.
