I'm not sure if the pictured Audi RS4 would allow you to pull off some of those maneuvers considering its Quattro all-wheel-drive, but surely we'll let that slide (punnage!) for a video game.
Audi RS4 FTW.
Voice-overs? Seems like FFIV set the standard. I like =)
OMFG. *ANOTHER* RPG that I'm gonna have to get for my DS? The DS is the console to have right now if you're truly an RPG fan IMHO
That trailer got me even more excited about the comic book artistic style for the game. Plus, that boss battle looked like it'd be epic considering how big the dude is.
Ya, I was really hoping for a Mario Paint-esque music editor in Wii Music.
Ppl who go far enough as to play the race card during discussions and debates about consoles really need a reality check. If your paycheck doesn't come from Nintendo, Sony, or MS (or even if you don't receive dividends from investments in these companies), you really shouldn't be taking it seriously enough to bring race into the picture. And even if you are getting income from the industry, race is neither appropriate nor pertinent to gaming as a whole.
If someone is trying to maintain credibility as a person who is a fan of games rather than consoles, I don't see why he would even try to prove such a point.
"This is one person out of a million people that probably feel the same way." I hear the word "probably" used in a similar manner on Fox News all the time.
Also, HHG plugs Nintendo in the DS section and then jokingly asks for a check as if giving props to Nintendo is something he would never...
A new Virtual On game w/ MotionPlus controls could be pretty sweet.
lol awesome, even the cutscenes look oldschool.
So ppl got pissed when Megaman didn't release on the VC when they thought it would, and then now that it has been released, all of a sudden no one cares? Hmm...
lol, you sold your Wii because it didn't have DVD playback enabled?
Wow, 13% tax?
Anyway, I have played neither of those games that I mentioned so what I said is based on word-of-mouth and reviews, and not personal experience. I would take Smacktard's words into consideration and do more research before purchasing any of them.
AFAIK, Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 and Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles both support the Wii Zapper and are both pretty good games.
You can still find Manhunt 2 for the Wii in stores, and I don't see parents up in arms about that. Hmm...
The fact that so many ppl are still complacent about playing FPSs using analog sticks rather than a mouse/keyboard or Wii remote is even more horrid IMHO.
Perfect Dark, considered by many to be the true sequel to Goldeneye, is still one of my favorite games of all time. However, enough time has passed since its release for console FPSs to evolve into something more than just shinier textures and higher framerates.
The good graphics are really just the icing on the cake for me. Regardless of how good an FPS looks on the 360 or PS3, it will NEVER be able to play as well as an FPS on the Wii unless it utilizes an input device other than the dpad. I say this as an avid PS3 COD4 player and one who has finished MP3 on the Wii.
For someone who professes to having nothing against the Wii, I'm surprised Chad Lakkis would come to this conclusion rather than simply concluding that Mark Wahlberg doesn't play games for long periods of time. Getting hits to your online articles must be tough nowadays.
Having finished the original FFIV on the SNES numerous times and currently playing the FFIV remake on the DS, I can say without a doubt that there are enough changes and additions to the DS version to warrant its purchase.
The story elements are pretty much the same but there are numerous additions and improvements to the gameplay. Of course, the graphics have been completely overhauled and there is even voice-acting to add to the amazing new cutscenes.
I don't thin...
I don't mind sequels, I just think it's hilarious when Nintendo releases a new game that has Mario in it and ppl are like, "zomg ANOTHER Mario game" even tho that particular game may have just a few true prequels (ie the Mario Kart and Mario Strikers series are entirely different, they just share a similar cast of characters), but then these same ppl get hyped about FF13, GTA4 (which is actually the 9th game in the series), the 1,000th FPS w/ no significant gameplay innovations, etc...
It has thousands of puzzles yet it got a 7.0 for Lasting Appeal?!
