PoP goin back to its side-scrolling roots?
What other countries has the Wii not officially been released in yet?
Yes, bring it stateside.
The fact that the Wii doesn't have similar hardware specs to the other consoles and presents a brand new way to play games never before seen in the home console market makes the Wii, from a business standpoint, the MOST risky console endeavor this generation.
I'll finally get to experience the DQ classics =)
LMAO you know too well that my trailer-trashiness is unmatched =)
The music is epic.
Ghetto-rigging has its appeal. I'd be all about that design =D
I didn't mean to hurt you like that, Syko. I'm in it for the Poo Rays =) You think I might finally be able to get my 10th bubble if I confessed my undying devotion to my shiny new Blu Ray player in the PS3 section?
This is exactly why I caved and bought a PS3 yesterday morning. I had planned on waiting to buy a PS3 for more games that I like to come out, but Walmart's got a good deal w/ this one and I wanted a Blu Ray player and a new DVD player for my living room. I have no games but am in the process of getting some Blu Rays. If you can't find PS3s at Walmart, you MAY have luck at Best Buy getting a manager to match the deal. No guarantees tho.
FF6 is my personal favorite but FF4 had a better storyline and character development IMHO. Both are in my top 5 games of all time anyway tho so it doesn't really matter. FF7 caused me to leave the FF franchise, and the fact that so many ppl liked it more than FF6 or FF4 caused me to lose respect for gamers back then (this is when ppl started obsessing over graphics).
Awesome! I like how you are now rewarded for full-exploring dungeons and I'm eager to try out the augmenting system. I'm still kinda confused about Rydia's sidekick or whatever, but it seems like a cool new idea.
I still love ff4's boss-battle music. It's upbeat, has a nice tune, and definitely conveys a feeling of imminent danger. FF6's boss-battle theme beats it by a hair IMHO, but both are masterpieces.
Man, this whole time I've been pronouncing it "see-s...
I was thinking the reference was to Disaster: DoC but it'd be cool if it were another new IP. The more, the merrier.
I'm so addicted to Okami right now. The Celestial Brush works awesome w/ the Wii remote IMHO.
The game has actually sold pretty well on the Wii compared to the PS2.
Assuming VGChartz data to be a fairly good approximation, there were about 100 mil PS2s sold worldwide upon Okami's initial release in Japan (April '06). Okami has gone on to sell about 150,000 copies on the PS2 platform.
When Okami was released for the Wii in April '08 in NA, there were ap...
"Wow, cool story bro!"
ROFLMAO
Agreed, Kholinar. And yet ppl apparently equate "next gen" exclusively to FPSs judging from the disagrees lol
#3 is the only one of those that even remotely has anything to do w/ being Wii-specific. You are definitely a unique individual if swinging a remote is less interactive to you than pressing a button but to each his own I suppose.
Take turns w/ Syko =)
You mean the one that has sold over a million copies?
OMG yes! I'm wondering why an announcement of this magnitude wasn't saved for E3.
