Neither. It's an awesome idea. Leave it to Capcom to go against the grain and create something new (in this day and age) w/ some major oldschool flair.
I have both a PS3 and a Wii, and would consider the PS3 version to be the handicapped one if the Wii version's controls are anything like RE4: Wii Edition. Dpads are great for certain kinds of gameplay mechanics, but aiming is not one of them.
I'd be more inclined to believe it if Yu Suzuki said it himself, but that may just be my optimism getting in the way =)
Are you implying that Mario Galaxy, Brawl, Mario Kart, Zelda: TP, MP3, and Mario Strikers are merely figments of my imagination?
It's great to hear that HVS have nailed the controls. I really believe the Wii remote can bring 1st-person games to new heights, and so far MP3 and MH2 have proven themselves in that aspect. Judging from what IGN says, The Conduit looks like it'll continue that trend, as I hope COD5 can as well.
lol ya I remember when he saw Haze prior to its release, he was very unimpressed and then everyone on N4G who bought into the Haze hype got all butthurt and started taking personal stabs at him. You know who you are.

The old school Mega Man tunes are far more catchy perhaps because of the limited sound set IMHO, and the gameplay is basic yet challenging. I'm so hyped for this game.

I own both a Wii and a PS3, and I game much more on the Wii. I pretty much only use the PS3 to watch movies and play COD4.
Strictly from a gaming standpoint, the Wii is an exceptional value IMHO because it allows devs to create games that could've never been done before. As a generalization, the PS3 currently doesn't offer games any different than what I could've had on my Xbox, which is why I'm eagerly awaiting LBP.
Ya it looks pretty clean actually, especially the guns/gloves. I'm so ready for this, considering how sub-optimal it is playing FPSs w/ the d-pad. Product is right, aiming and shooting accurately using a Wii remote is far more intuitive and efficient than using a d-pad.

I love playing COD4 on my PS3 but the game would be so much better if I could use the Wii remote from my Wii. Metroid Prime 3 controls much more intuitively, and that is a result of the Wii's superior control scheme for 1st-person games.
Running, jumping, turning, and shooting accurately all at the same time are tedious w/ a d-pad but become second-nature w/ a Wii-remote or keyboard/mouse.
