Hooray, Europe isn't getting screwed with this one.

First trophy here I come.

Agreed, I'm thankful as a sole PS3 owner that I do get to experience this GOTY first hand.

Here's hoping BioShock 2 is multi-platform so that nobody misses out. (Well, except the Wii only owners).

Sounds like the gateway drug for the PSP and DS.

"The tags used to label level you create are pre-selected and were intially from LOL Cats. This has since been changed."

Now that would have been funny! I'm sad they took those out.

I saw this yesterday, it's actually looks quite interesting... Allegedly Japan gets it this month so hopefully it will be released everywhere else sooner rather than later.

This might actually help the PSP fight piracy. If you can't earn trophies or use the friends list under custom firmware then maybe Sony will have found what they need to prevent pirated games. Which in turn means more PSP games are purchased, making it a more viable platform for developers.

If all goes well, this will re-invent the PSP.

They can get away with saying it's the Fiscal year... doesn't make it any less pleasant but it covers their ass.

As far as I know, all PS3 models support PS1 backwards compatibility (hence why they are on the store) but only some models have PS2 support. The EU 60GB does, but neither the 40GB nor the upcoming 80GB do.

Sony may have stated officially that the 80GB doesn't, but I don't know for sure. I would expect it to be the same as the 40, but with the DS3

Yeah, I'm in the UK. Amazon, Gameplay and Play are sold out online and the last Game store I went in to didn't have any either. I thought it was a bit strange.

It's not impossible to find them obviously, HMV have a few, but generally they're rarer than they have been.

The trailers haven't had an effect on me yet, but I can easily see how some people might be susceptible to it.

Makes sense, it's almost impossible to find a PS3 for sale at the moment. It's actually easier to find a Wii if you can believe that.

Shame there's no BC, but at least people can get the DualShock.

Woohoo. Thanks again crew.

I'll also be looking forward to your summary of E3 next week since I'm almost certain I'll miss some of the big news this week.

I don't think I'd ever use it, but it definitely looks cool.

Good for those people, they earnt it.

And the track is indeed Pendulum, the track is called Granite from the new "In Silico" album. Epic driving music.

Here's a suggestion, rather than take up screen real estate in your games and cover up important HUD data, why not use the PSP? (Or at least give you the choice).

That's what they've hoped for all along. The thing is that thinking it will become as big as The Sims is being quite naive, it's impossible to tell what will take off like that, after all, The Sims was rejected the first time it was pitched because they didn't think it would sell.

So what's on the UMD that they're selling for £17? Different levels?

I thought Elefunk (is that how they spell it?) was due this week as well? Nevermind, I've been waiting on Echochrome for ages so will certainly get that tonight.

What actually is the PSP Echochrome content though? A demo that you have to pay for?

Criterion said something about this on their podcast. Something to do with being happy with the scope as it stands now, and being able to release it on time. I doubt this was due to any supposed 360 limitations.

Besides, 360 fans will say Blu-Ray's read speeds will slow it down so it's a pointless argument. Just be glad the city expansion will be in a free update.

The first update was a launch day fix for some PS3 NAT issues.
The second was codename Bogart - A general purpose bug fix release.
