Another reason for people to draw parallels between Gears 2 and Resistance 2, god knows why since one is a third person and the other is a first person but still, rivalry runs rampant around here.

Agreed. I have no idea why rumble was left out, it just doesn't make sense. Trophies and custom soundtracks are understandable, but rumble just seems daft, even if some people don't want it, they can turn it off.

As for the review itself, it's not brilliantly written, towards the end in particular there are lots of sentences which don't make complete sense. And some of the facts he talks about are wrong. You get trophies for opening all of the seeds in a garden, the objectives however are called Spectra, getting 5 Spectra in a garden doesn't give you a trophy.
A bit extreme but I'm not going to argue with your opinion. But can I just ask, why did you spell that with a strange Ų?
That looks so similar, if the sky was bright blue you could almost pass some still shots off as the real thing.

It's a different type of game to MGS4, but it's definitely worth picking it up, if you can get the Platinum edition then yeah, go for it.

Seriously, play the demo and you will know on your own whether you want the game. I haven't had such a good time with a demo since Burnout Paradise.

If you think about it this way: There is only one month between August and October.
Granted we are at the start of August and the game will probably be at the end of October, but 1 month sounds so much nicer than 3.
Just to be a little bit pedantic, PixelJunk is the name of the series of PSN titles, Q-Games are the (very talented) developers.
Monsters and Eden are very good. I'm glad Racers wasn't an indication of things to come.
I'm afraid I have to disagree, I really like the game, and the repetitive aspects of the game aren't nearly as bad as they first sound.
Not being able to fling your own silk is part of the game's design, it isn't counter productive it's designed to make it a bit more challenging, at least that's my take on it.
And although the game is fairly easy in principle, acquiring the trophies (which I admit are tough and could have been restructured a little bit) and achieving...

Still runs the risk of saved games being passed around. That kind of trophy would require a patch for the first game to lock the saves, at which point they might as well implement trophies in to the first one. (Which would not be a bad thing).
