Agreed, it's not as big as I had hoped, but that's not going to stop me from trying to go. Sounds like a fun day
Me too. It doesn't cause discomfort, it just looks totally flat when I put the glasses on.
Personally not so fussed about cross-game-chat, but I agree with you about the 0% trophies thing.
Update itself looks pretty solid, all new stuff and no down-side. What's not to like? :-)
Yay :D I've heard nothing but good things about the game so it'll be great to experience first hand what all the fuss is about.
Edit: And by good I mean insanely difficult and hair-pulling amounts of frustration but you get the idea.
Those commmercials are full of win! Oh, the grenades are cool too.
A large subset of the pirating scene like to crack machines so that they can execute their own code on there. This is possible with the older PS3s (not the slim ones).
While that didn't kill attempts to hack the PS3, I imagine it played a part in preventing too many hackers from trying. The PS3 can probably be hacked, but why bother when, for most people, there's nothing to gain
Personally I enjoy having extra goals to work for in order to get more value from my games. But it's not so much the number of trophies I have that drives me forward, it's the simple sense of personal accomplishment.
I'm one of the people who collected every single dog tag in MGS2. I 100%ed GTA:VC and GTA:SA. I picked up every in-game trophy I could get for Super Smash Brothers Melee. Hence, trophies were a logical progression for me because they give extra goals on top of wantin...
It appears to have been fixed now. All 3 games are in my cart and no discount is being applied. I wonder how many people were able to take advantage of that.
Reports seem fairly mixed, but I tried it myself and it definitely applies the discount at the checkout. No telling how much longer it will last.
For what it's worth, while the console versions had 3 disks, the PC version had 4: 1 for installation and the 3 game disks.
For what it's worth, the second image appears to have 2 analog sticks, so at least they put some thought into their fake design.
I'm waiting for them to trade the projector for contact lenses or glasses, that would be so much cooler and more practical
£4.24 in the UK as well, much nicer price than £16.99. I reckon this will be my first Steam purchase
This was the first game I bought for my system, to this day I firmly believe that Sixaxis is great when used correctly, even if very few other titles support that theory.
With Trophy Support now a part of Burnout Paradise, I'm almost certain they won't ask you to complete the game a third time. Besides, even if they did you'll already have the trophies for most of it, so all you'd have to do is get these 7 seperately.

Nobody else seems to care but I think this is great news!
Does nobody else find that image a little bit disturbing?
I'm actually too busy to get a chance to listen to these podcasts right now. I'm falling behind :( But thanks are in order all the same!
Interesting, I'll remember that. Thanks :)
