all for 45usd. Thats a great deal imo.
I usually buy 4 pack version of games with friends. we get games at launch for 33-37usd a piece. We bought:
Borderlands
Left 4 dead2
Bioshock 2
For 33usd a piece at launch. Doesnt get any better then that.

Would be hard to make a gaming PC today, which would perform Equal or lower then a console, unless you purposely botch it with an Intel GPU.
Even 100usd gpus of today are generations ahead of what is present on consoles.
LOL the RSX design was obselete when the PS3 launched. The 8800gtx puts the RSX and cell to shame even when they are working together.
Uncharted or killzone2 have to be the best looking games on the PS3. Run Crysis on a 8800gtx, and watch it look better then anything the PS3 can put out.
8800gtx is currently an ancient design. In fact its so old let me list the gpus that precede it:
9800gtx 1gen
280gtx 2gen
480gtx 3g...
3D TVs arent really affordable at the moment. I dont see how this will work out.
Unless someone goes for a 3D monitor instead. However playing a console on a monitor would show terrible lot of jaggies.

Year on year 2009 was worse then 2008. 2010 so far is worse then 2009.
Pc gaming on the other hand was 3% higher hen 2008. Pc sold a healthy 13.1billion in software in 2009.
Meanwhile Sony and Microsoft are both in huge losses over their console projects. Specially sony with over 5billion in the red. They arent recoverng their money this gen thats for sure.

Well is not fair on the PC then. Any 150usd gpu can handle 2560*1600 on most games these day.

i could build you a 400-500usd PC that will play all games in 1080p
and in the long run due to prices being cheaper on PC. it will be cheaper then any console.
To begin with everyone needs a PC. Any 2yr old pc needs a 100usd gpu to stomp consoles into the ground.

Both are great cards you cant go wrong with either of them. What Res do you intend to play at? (though even that shouldnt be a question for these gpus lol)
you probably will get to see lots of titles like just dance, devs will do what makes money. Casual stuff with motion controls sells alot.
Even if Sony does try make 1st party games for the hardcore, they wont be too many as it takes time to develop. multiplatfom devs will just port wii garbage

Hell forget emulation. When a generation ends, while console gamers run to buy the next console which has no games. PC gamers retain all their collection.
Developers are greedy, while the PC is very profitable they want to get sales from all 3 platforms. Hence they try to make games which can run on PS3 and Xbox.
Sure both of them are holding the PC back and hardware upgrades are not needed like they used to be. Which might hurt nvidia and ati in the long run. PCGA reports 13.1 billion in software sales for PC(2009). Thats more then PS3 or the Xbox 360.
More importantly PC posted an growth in sales, while console sales were down compared to 2008. Meanwhile 2010 seems to be even worse for consoles so far in comparison to 2009. Hence consoles are seeing a year on year decline in sales. PC is growing.
If 13.1billion usd are bad then i guess PS3 and Xbox fail too.

not the only reason man. i havent used it much so i cant really comment. but you know not being able to buy games on it in regions will suck. they need to work on their distribution asap. then try getting as good as steam.
In the end the more DD services the better for us.
While its good Fable 3 is coming to PC.
If its not on steam it will tank. One of the reasons GFWL fails is cause it doesnt cover as much countries as steam does. So even if ppl want to buy it online they cant.

Like i mentioned i have classic games which i would never like to part with. When ever i do upgrade, Those games remain playable. I wont have to be worried at all when a PS4 or Xbox 720 Launch, cause i know the GPU or CPU i buy at that time will carry on to play the games i have owned for over a Decade, that is a BIG plus point for me.
