I think that's why Bungie didn't really emphasize the Halo 3 multiplayer achievements as well.
he really seems either completely paranoid, or completely whacked out of his gourde...but probably both.
it seems like it could only help increase their sales. Just get people in the door, and you never know what other accessories or unrelated products they may end up buying.
but with PS2 still generally outselling PS3, wouldn't dropping its price to $99 only encourage more sales of PS2 and not PS3? That kind of doesn't make sense to me. I still don't think there's anything that can be done to counter Halo 3. The hype is just too big, IMO.
I'm going to play and enjoy COD4 (once it's released) before I start thinking about COD5. I think people are getting a little ahead of themselves.
Play Halo 3? That's my plan. I may even take the day off of work, plant myself on the couch and play it until I wear the prints off my thumbs. Haha, good times, good times. 8)
I was wondering about the new Dew. I'm a sucker for new products, but I may have to pass on it if it's nasty. I still may try it just to see for myself, since I'm apparently a glutton for punishment, too. 8)
On topic, the Arbiter was cool at first, but it quickly got kind of old to me. One level would have been nice, but I didn't really care for the constant jumping back and forth.
BioShock has been an incredible game, right up there with Gears. I think Mass Effect has the potential to give BioShock a run for its money as far as ratings go, but we'll have to wait and find out. That's not even considering what Halo 3 might receive ratings wise. It will be interesting, to say the least.
I would be all over that. The only challenge would be to improve the game and not rest on their laurels. There are some improvements that could be made, but a sequel is welcome news.
I would definitely enjoy playing a new Castlevania game on the 360. Good news.
the 360 has had some top notch games, with even more on the way. They've been a blast to play, and I'm really looking forward to some of the upcoming releases. I think that's how it's survived alot of the bad press it's received from the hardware issues.
very nice. I can't wait.
if we could get through a post without someone listing every single potentially-rumored-pre-alpha- storyboarded-possibly-going-to- happen-cool-idea-written-on-a-r estaurant-napkin game coming out for their console of choice. I think everyone is well aware of the games that are in the works. It has zero impact on console sales that have occurred up to this point. Just my two cents.
the game started getting really choppy after downloading the patch. I hope they come out with a fix quickly.
I agree with the article. I don't think people are necessarily confused, but I do think they are very hesitant to buy into a format that isn't the clear cut winner. As long as studios keep jumping ship and changing their format allegiance, most people will do just like PS360WII said and keep buying DVD.
There will no doubt be detractors, but I think most people will be more than impressed. I personally am very much looking forward to this game. The third person combat looks like it will be a blast, especially integrated with the deep storyline and character interaction.
I think it's going to be an amazing game. GOTY contender, IMO.
I'm very interested in this title as well. Especially since one of the writers of the Myst series is helping with Conviction's story line. Should be very interesting, indeed.
I want to play, too. Oh well, soon enough. 8)
interesting.
