Aliens vs. Predator was an amazing game. I've been wishing for another great Alien game since then. It did the Alien franchise justice (and the Predator franchise, too for that matter.). That's why I hope this game shapes up to be as good as what's been revealed so far.

I've been waiting for a AAA Alien game for many years. This one, so far, is looking like it might fit the bill. Here's to to hoping that they do the franchise justice and give Alien fans what they deserve.
That price drop happened quite a while ago. I really hope that's not what they're still charging customers. Then again, I also hope most people know that HD-DVD is no longer being supported. Strange.

It's extremely difficult to tell how war will affect people, even "battle hardened" soldiers. My nephew is currently on his second tour in Iraq. He has discussed some of the terrible things he's experienced; including watching his friend and squad leader get killed, and getting shot through his backpack. Why wouldn't MS want to find a way to integrate Blu-ray capabilities into their products? It would be a mistake on their part if they didn't. While I think DD is eventually going to be the content delivery form of the future (see DOCSIS 3.0), Blu-ray isn't going anywhere for a while. It's in their best interest (and their customers) to come up with a Blu-ray solution for their products.
I doubt this has anything to do with being some sort of exclusive deal. Hopefully this one is just as good as the first one. Condemned: Criminal Origins was one of the most underrated 360 launch titles, IMO.

You jest, but you're probably right.
Especially considering that they've only had one price drop in 3 years. With fewer exclusive games lined up this year than last year, they need to do something to keep interest up. Ultimately, it seems important for them to get at or below the Wii price point with the Arcade SKU.
It was acting really buggy on my machine. But from what I've seen, it's a pretty cool program. I can understand the comparisons to LBP. It's like Phun on steriods. Anything that provides limitless creativity and imagination is pretty awesome.

the perfect console is what suits each person's individual needs. As with most technology, there will always be improvements that can be made. Between the 360, PS3, and Wii, there are aspects that each one does better than the other. For those that can only afford one console, the trick is to determine which one will provide the features that will be the most beneficial for your situation.
