I never played RPGs prior to buying Oblivion. That was one of the best game purchases I've ever made. I discovered what has now become my favorite genre of games...especially when they're done right. Bethesda, BioWare, From...they all know how to make a hell of an RPG. I can't wait!
Sorry, but give me Tropico 4 and Gears 3.
I'm a sucker for Tomb Raider. I'd buy into a reboot if it was done well enough. They're great games, and for fans of the franchise, I think it would be a welcome development.
Thank you.
Patrick Stewart himself, and yes it does take the game to a new level. I'm very much looking forward to this.
and well thought out. It's one of those games that is so simple in its delivery it's complicated. I give Playdead Studios credit (and Xbox, for that matter) for taking a risk and creating something so plain and straight forward. It's simplicity is its beauty. It's almost the doppleganger for Braid. Both very similar, but certainly at opposite ends of the color spectrum.
It's looking pretty nice. I'll hold off final judgement until then. So far, so good though.
Yes.
I'm really looking forward to Aliens: Colonial Marines. It's not garnering the attention some of the other big titles are, but I think it's going to be a great game none-the-less.
I kind of have to agree with you on that. I played Too Human, and it was, at times, extremely painful. It was all I could do to finish it. I could see where they were going with the idea for the game, but the execution fell way short.
I can't wait for BioShock 2.
Now they can get to work on Table Tennis 2! 8)
Me and my buddy got booted off several times within a couple of hours. We were able to sign right back in though. Hopefully that's the worst it'll get.
and I can't wait for his next game to come out. If you haven't played Braid, do yourself a favor and at least download the demo. It's truly a great gaming experience from start to finish.
I'm seriously looking forward to this game.
I think those were some pretty good and very reasonable ideas. Here's to hoping MS does some listening and comes out with a nice update. I enjoy the idea behind the blades, but I do think some tweaking is in order.
that I can play a COD game anymore unless it's on Veteran difficulty. There's something intriguing about the ridiculousness of it all. There's an odd satisfaction I get after beating some of the more frustrating levels (No Fighting In The War Room, anyone?) Still trying to get that dang Mile High Club achievement though. 8\
If they improve some of the frame rate issues and tweak the combat mechanics, they certainly could have an amazing game in the works. I thought the first one was great. Graphically it was gorgeous, and the story was well written and acted. Hopefully they can make some solid improvements and really build upon the first installment.
It was kind of half-hearted squad ordering IMO. It was certainly not R6V(2) caliber squad tactics by any stretch of the imagination. As long as they improve upon the already good squad AI, I don't really think anyone will miss it. 8)
...and every day for the next 6 months too, probably.
