One of my first thoughts was that it was going to be a next gen Xbox game due to the CPU restrictions of the Xbox One. Maybe as they got further into development they find a way to make it work for this gen. Who knows. But that is the best reason I could think of.
Mutant year zero works extremely well on console, as did xcom. So this shouldn't d be a huge problem. But it's good that it is coming.
By day one I meant announcing an Xbox version would happen, even if they said it would release after the PC version. It created unnecessary hate and anger on their forums by not saying this.

More likely 1 AAA title per year, more if you include Forza. They have at least 5 main AAA studios now. The rest AA or A titles.

That's the point. You don't need to because ms are supporting your platform of choice. For me this is a great move by ms and one of their best changes.

Do you believe that? I treat smoking related illnesses and the diseases that kill people, like COPD, strokes, heart disease, lung cancer etc do not wait until people are in their 80's. Mass effect 3 was also great, it even has a metacritic of 93. I definitely wouldn't say it was a flop. Andromeda on the other hand was a flop.
It's called choice. If you want to "switch " them don't buy this version. Pretty simple really.

I should add that because Microsoft no of the widespread faults they did fix my 12 month old controller free of charge and without any issues.
It is an amazing controller, but it falls apart. Every person I know, including myself, who purchased one has had issues. The rubber grips fall off, it starts to drift, the buttons become spongy etc. Just Google any of this, it has widespread design flaws. But when new and before these flaws show it is the best controller I have used.
I really enjoyed state of decay 2. Genuinely one of my favourite games this gen on either platform. I hated the other 2 games though and cd3 was so out dated I don't understand how they even released it.
The conference was disappointing but they had more than gears, Forza, halo. There was battletoads( looks terrible) and a new game by mohjang plus Ori 2. In addition outerworlds, while multiplatform, points to a potentially bright future for this ms owned studio. Plus 1 new studio.
Thanks. I added it for $1 and turned 12 months gold and 6 months gamepass into 19 months ultimate. Pretty happy with that. I should have taken your advice though and purchased another 12 months of gold first.
As pointed out this is one of many projects. It was in development at the same time as Hellblade. 20 staff members were making Hellblade, Others were making this. We will see more from them next e3, most likely with a game by the Hellblade team.
What if gamepass expires 6 months before your live subscription?
The price of next gen consoles will be interesting. SSD drives, ray tracing GPU with rumoured 2080 capabilities and high powered CPU. Not sure how they do this for less than $499, even this price seems optimistic. But time will tell if they can pull it all off for this price or less. Next gen certainly sounds great.
