I mean that if ms brings gamepass to PS4 and it succeeds they might lose motivation to make Xbox hardware. This limiting console hardware to Sony and reducing their direct competition. ( Note this excludes Nintendo as they tend to have their own share of the market).
Will ms will bring gamepass to the PS4 now? Would be nice to only but one console, but at the same time we don't want the console space limited to one company.
They need to relaunch Anthem as Anthem 2.0 definitive with huge changes and new content and an expanded universe. A relaunch with everything fixed is the only thing that will save it.
"So getting rid of exclusives"
This is the single most annoying fanboy comment i hear. Play anywhere allows users to buy games on a console and play on PC. This is a huge positive, yet is constantly turned into a negative because it takes exclusive console games and allows people to play them on a PC. It is not a negative and if Sony ever did this I would applaud them for taking a huge step forwards.
Plus cuphead.
There is a difference though and I think more people need to be banned but only in extreme cases. The other day I accidentally joined a party invite ( I was pressing home after a bad match and joined another party by mistake that sent an invite). They started by telling me I sucked ( I really did in that match) but then followed up in great detail about how I should kill myself and why (related to my poor performance in 1 match). I didn't talk, they didn't know me or my age, I could h...
It needs regular updates and some map changes. In addition some of the community you team up with are toxic and abusive, yet they have no report feature for any abuse.
Yet in Australia they offer free returns for 14 days and it doesn't get abused. I think they have a fair use policy, so if you advise it by returning an excessive amount they can block the individual.
We get a pay rise and health check.
I think humble bundle went down hill after IGN purchased it. Before that the games seemed so much better.
The subscription helps pay for the online infrastructure as well. I am okay with this. Plus I use Microsoft rewards. Just by surfing the internet with Bing and doing quizzes I get 12 months of gold and one free game a year ( 110,000 lifetime points so far). Not paid for gold for 2 years.
I agree. Starting a mission by riding a horse for 10 minutes listening to the conversation was monotonous.
They need to buy studios, create studios or go home. Paying for a few exclusives won't work in the long run.
Why? As someone who has put in over 80 hours into this game I think it's great. It obviously isn't everyone's choice for a top game, but for it's type it is fantastic.
I enjoyed QB, but at the same time I took a break half way through as I was getting bored. When I returned to complete it a month later i enjoyed it again. With games I like I usually play them from start to finish, so this was a bit different for me.
They did their own thing with QB. The tv show aspects that people hate were Remedy's idea. They pitched it to MS and wanted to expand on what they did with the tv playing in Alan Wake.
"but in their case they own the game so they can do what they want with that"
True, but bringing it to platforms they do not own is what makes this even better. The only exception was ps4 because they need the game linked to xbox live to allow and register cross platform purchases.
I am not sure why people are expecting a huge number of big announcements. it is not going to happen, Sony are getting ready for the PS5 so their resources are heading in that direction. There won't be a huge amount of unknown for the PS4 going forward. The next big Sony showing will be all about the PS5.
Of course we will see more TLOU2 news soon, which will be great. But there will will be very little that is unknown.
They are not going to show off much of anything, other than games we already know about like TLOU2. Sony and MS are gearing up for the next gen of consoles so their resources will be moving acrossto make games for the PS5.
@Optimus. Just thought I would leave this link for you.
