Hope these guys managed to stop it before anything confidential was gained. Really is a true shame that enthusiast press sites are now getting attacked too. It's just childish and is doing nothing but making the gaming community look bad after all these gaming related attacks.
Listen to the GiantBomb podcast, first day of E3.
It's cross platform with the PC version so must be pretty close.
Not remaking the original MP is a huge huge missed opportunity. The shooter market is so riddled with all these fancy additions now that bringing it back to basics with nicer visuals would have been a breath of fresh air.
It was also out 2 years before this generations consoles, and as sad as it is I'm sure the ability to run Custom Firmware with a myriad of emulators sold a huge huge chunk of units. Sony will certainly have it locked down tighter than the original PSP this time I'd imagine.
Depends what you class as a success.... In sales terms the DS couldn't have whipped it any harder if it tried.
Not at all, motion controls are largely for the casual, sure there's certainly a place in some hardcore titles for it where it's smartly and appropriately integrated. As it stands you're just talking about chucking in motion control support in games that don't need it, nor where designed for it in the first place.
Certainly looks possible, as I say all those announcements are pretty easy to predict. Halo 4 is the only stand-out one in terms of being a surprise but even that we knew was coming at some point, just a matter of when.
Havn't we just had a news post saying these leaked ones were fake ¬_¬'? Ironically get the news post saying the leaked ones are fake before the news article which shows the leaked ones.
To be fair even if they are fake it's pretty obvious. Definitely a Halo reveal, definitely Star Wars Kinect, and DC2 + Sports 2 are to be expected.
And using a controller on both trumps Move. The only reason Sony are chucking in Move support to aloada' games which don't need it is in a (clearly) failed attempt to get the casuals to try more hardcore titles.
Any actual gamer will use a controller. Sure they might try the move but it'll be something you'd do for one session and think "hey that's cool" and never touch it again.
Would have to agree, 5/5 seems pretty high but I am enjoying it! It's good fun.
Are all these free? Doesn't state any price for the map pack or ability pack?
Repetitive...sounds like more of the same. I had fun with the first but it became extremely repetitive about half way through. Didn't even bother with the second for that reason, i'm deathspanked out.
This seems odd. For years the major companies' press events have been held in the mornings, 5pm til 10 seems pretty odd considering the time for the majority of other places in Europe won't be able to realistically watch it.
Also 5 hours just seems crazy, even with a console announcement, aloada games, NGP and speaking about the psn troubles you'd still be pushed to hit 5 hours.
It's great when it works. Problem is right now the console versions are just completely riddled with unplayable lag. I sold my copy but may rebuy it at a later date if they fix it. It's a shame.
Make sure you turn off Ubersampling. I also recommend getting the latest Nvidia Beta Drivers, they seemed to have helped alot! Also everyone's saying to make 100% sure you have the "3D Vision" drivers uninstalled, apparently it can half your fps - seems to be a bug.
I'm running on a GTX275 with a quad core i5 and it works great on High. Your machine should be able to handle it, it's just from looking at the forums there's performance issues with the ...
No the story doesn't just involve text files with scripts, voice acting will take up a huge portion of space.
What is it recently with internet goons who jump on hate bandwagons rather than make up their own opinion about video games from actually playing them.
Remember, it's a frickin video game, by hopping on your high horse of hate you're only missing out yourself. Also it's Brink not Bink.
"this crap" he says without even playing it.
I wish people would start forming their own opinions based on actually playing a game rather than spewing rubbish because someone else doesn't like a game.
Quickscoping is an exploit, it wasn't an intentional feature but an exploit involving using certain perks in combination with the aim assist. It also pretty much solely consists of 14 year old kids doing it.
