Gears feels like a significant improvement after the mess of 2. I had an absolute blast with it.
UC3 however has been a disappointment for me, it doesn't feel like much of a step up at all. The meta-game elements such as customisation are definitely improved, but the game itself has the exact same bad points of 2 which have been left untouched.
I'm not fussed though, I'll buy UC3 for the singleplayer alone which even if it is more of the same wil...
Can't see it making a big splash anyway to be honest. Although the pricing for what you're getting is fantastic I feel the time for a dedicated handheld gaming machine is passing. Sure there'll always be those who want that but I can't see them hitting big sales anymore
Too little too late sadly.
Just as meh as the mp in 2. Infact all of the same rubbish such as the terrible melee system and often frustrating platforming is identical from the 2nd. The buddy system is a neat idea, and customisation seems improved although some perks/mods seem overpowered - but it is a beta so those may get balanced.

SCEE are a constant joke. I remember when the UT Titan Pack came out and because of the retarded notion that they can only update the store once a week it took 2-3 weeks for the UK store to get it over the US one. The people that don't like Nuketown are those that enjoy sitting in a corner racking up crappy killstreaks as opposed to just getting stuck in to some fast paced action.
I've noticed a clear divide in those that try and stay alive for as long as possible and give a whoopdy-doo about their K/D ratios disliking Nuketown, yet those that just want to jump in and have some manic fun enjoy it.
