Nice, thanks!
Shhh...don't mention the [you know what]!
Count me in
Thanks for posting. It's always interesting to have a window into how a game gets made.
I got Shift to tide me over until GT5. Can't imagine why I'd buy Shift 2, especially this soon after GT5 came out.
Sweeeeet.
People (like me) bought Shift to tide them over for GT5. Now that GT5 is out I'm pretty sure they know interest in Shift 2 will take a huge hit. Maybe they figure if they constantly bad-mouth PD they'll do as well as Turn 10.
Having damage without requiring repairs wouldn't make any sense. If you're going to realistically simulate the experience of owning and racing amazing cars then maintenance and repair has to be a part of it.
Off topic! Spam!
I heard TechSpy is being run by a bunch of yahoos.
Nice work fellas.
LOL @ building a site to rival N4G with Joomla.
1) More storage, battery life, faster chipset, new hardware features (higher resolution screen probably)
2) Huh?
3) starts at $199 with a contract
4) Yes (is that ever not the case?)
5 Yes and Yes
I expect to see some kind of 3rd party app multitasking (1st party apps already multitask), but Flash isn't going to happen.
Shocking that a British award would go to a game made in Britain over one made NOT in Britain. ;)
Megaton.
It wouldn't be totally unfathomable if InFamous 2 was unveiled at E3 and then released around the end of the year, or early next year. I kind of expect to hear something about it by E3 at least.
No way is it coming out in 7 weeks when the release date hasn't even been announced.
For anyone wondering - this was written by someone who was actually invited to, and attended the iPad press event. That puts him in a very small pool of individuals who has actually used an iPad. Apple doesn't just invite anybody to their events - it's not like you can just walk in off the street.
Flash is a the only de-facto web "standard" that is based on proprietary technology. This is bad for the web.
Modern web standards allow you to do anything that Flash can do with actual open standards - like playing videos in HTML5 (see YouTube, Vimeo) without Flash.
Warper!
