I'm having fun and i've barely even started - it's hard for me to remember when I get to a certain point that there is an easter egg i can uncover :)

It is interesting though, how I have not seen one single "MGS4 sets single day sales record, etc etc" that was seen with GTAIV/Halo3, etc.
So far it's a great game (although I am annoyed at the cut scenes), but there are plenty of GOTY contenders still yet to come. You never know what will happen, and I for one will not cast my vote until the time comes.

I can't believe some of you lot actually believe the PS3 bundle caused this crash. That's good for a few laughs.

Where is this articles references and sources? They list nothing. Amazon.com hasn't said anything (okay, so I guess that will give you a slimmer of hope that this is true). Reputable news sources (PC World, MarketWatch, CNN, etc) all have said that inquiries to Amazon.com have not been returned.

PSN is not lag-free, even with dedicated servers. So stop spewing trash.
With Haze, I didn't need a resolution to tell you it's crap. The first time I played the demo it seemed pretty decent, but another couple play throughs and I decided it wasn't worth it.
I haven't played a demo of NG2 yet, but that's really the deciding factor.
Truth has shown that games with lower resolutions that still play well still get bought (see CoD4, GTA4, Halo3, etc). It's games with lower resolutions AND crappy game play that suffer.
If nobody had told you that this game was lower than 720p, and you popped the game in and started playing - do you honestly think you would have been able to tell?
I fully doubt it. It looks great regardless - you don't hear anyone moaning about how they refuse to play CoD4 simply because of resolution.
You all just need to get over it.

It's quite a neat little piece of hardware. I love watching shows remotely using "remote connect" while traveling for business. Seriously, hands down it's awesome.
i am really excited for this game actually! i thought the demo was quite good.
Just let final sales numbers speak for the game. I'm putting $5 down that GoW2 outsells KZ2, both in terms of total games sold as well as % of console owners who purchased it (to put them on an even keel).
Luckily, though, I'll be one of the people who gets to pick up both!
This board is replete with PS3 fanboys. Just look at the agree/disagree ratio on all the comments. I'm sad that it's impossible to find an impartial message board anymore.

while reviews are good for getting a nod to whether the game is quality or not, it shouldn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.

And how many people are afraid to give it a rating lower than a 9 for fear of a backlash from their readers? It's almost as though it's a self-fulfilling prophecy.
I think halo 3 deserved the ratings it got, but the lot of you may not.
