As I bet most of you didn't even read the article it was linked to.

Meanwhile, Microsoft said it sold twice as many Xbox 360 consoles during Thanksgiving week compared to the week before. Spokesman David Dennis said Microsoft’s console sales took off a couple of weeks ago on two fronts. First, Walmart began selling bundles of the company’s Xbox 360 Arcade — the lowest priced unit at $199 — with $100 Walmart gift cards. Also, the $399 Xbox 360 Elite model based on the Call of Duty...

I would get an Xbox 360 first as most of my friends are on the Xbox and don't have a PS3. I have both, but would give up the PS3 if I had to as I just don't have any friends that own one.

ads don't, often times, pay for all of the costs associated. Especially if it is a high-bandwidth site.

Does N4G still really believe there is some media conspiracy against the PS3?

Sheesh - everything is blamed on the media these days! Get over it, kids.

But I only play it about once a month, so I still haven't beaten it.

I bet you I'm one of very few people who has owned the game for a year and still not beaten that.

come to think of it - I have LOTS of video games I've never beat before. Hmmm... guess it's a trend with me.

I've been busy lately and haven't played many new games in awhile, and so have only looked at some gameplay videos today for the first time.

However - this seems a lot like Crackdown in terms of jumping/running/gunning around the city - is that a fair assessment?

I bought the CoD4 maps, but I played that game more than any other game ever on this generation. Outside of that, I do feel like some of these things should have been included on the original disc, especially if the DLC is released very quickly after launch. But on the flipside, my pocketbook doesn't let me buy all the DLC I'd like to have. If you add it all up, it's like spending 70+ bucks on a single game... yikes!

Crispin Porter + Bogusky (that's the name of the Agency you were trying for).

And the mere fact that it has so many people talking (I'm not judging if the talk is good/bad) means that this advert is an entire success.

well... I think the graphics are decent. Perhaps my standards are lower than yours, lol.

i don't think it's officially out yet, but you can get your hands on it if you wanted to. that's how i interpret it.

it'll be officially out "soon". Before the 19th, which is when the Titan pack is out.

I'll fire this one up tonight and report back. I, for one, think this game is vastly underrated. I like it a lot - fast, pretty decent graphics and a little addictive.

I am not doubting the PS3 is a powerful at handling certain tasks. I own one, and I see that with my own two eyes.

But please don't make it sound like the 360 contains a somehow obsolete chip in it.

The fact that 3 people agreed with you and nobody has disagreed only validates why I rarely visit N4G anymore.

People here spew half-truths and have no clue what they are talking about, but fanboys agree with them and take it for the truth.

Sad.

"With the Xbox 360, you've got more of a traditional multi-core system, and you've got three PowerPC cores, each of them having dual threads -- so you've got six threads running there, at least in the CPU....

it still has quite a long way to go, imho. I deleted Home from my ps3 about a month ago and haven't seen anything yet that would make me want to reinstall it.

I think the 360 is right where it should be. No more, no less.

Get over the $199 arcade price point - I doubt that SKU accounts for more than 30% of all 360 sales (just my guess, I have no data). My own primary research (friends & family) show the majority buy the Pro version or the Elite.

So let's go with the average price of all three SKUs: $299 (which just happens to also be the Pro's price point) versus the average price of the PS3 $450.

So the P...

See the problem with these articles is that Amazon's selling charts are updated hourly.

Right now Wii Fit is #1. http://www.amazon.com/gp/be...

In a couple hours who knows what will happen?

I'm excited for Killzone 2 to release, not only so I can play it, but so that there will be some articles posted about something else on N4G.

Those losses are already realized. You don't keep "losing" that money in future years. That's not the way accounting works.

The gaming division of Microsoft currently makes a profit. That's the bottom line.
