Depending on which switch controller you are referring to. The Joy-cons are trash. after a while the battery life sucks. However the pro controller is nice.
Maybe because it has to do with Apple Arcade?
@chris12
what paywall. you do know why we pay for PSN right?
You do realize you contradict your own point? And they aren't blocking the DS4 from being used on other peripherals. You can still use DS4 on PS5 just not on PS5 games.
Don't forget MS also gives the great option of choice for their controllers battery!!! The option to use AA batteries or buy a charging pack. Such a great option\s
Yeah and he mentions something incorrect in his statement:
""Technology-wise, they clearly work," Penello said of DualShock 4 controllers working on PS5. "Other accessories will be supported (Fight sticks, PSVR) and that's awesome. When you look at the actual DualsSense features, there is nothing about what they are doing that should prevent DS4 from working."
"Same # of buttons. Same layout. Both have haptics, motion, an...
yeah i assumed there were going to be some as well
oh well...still can't wait
Bam!!! Problem identified; only an issue because it is anti-Xbox. And that is the real problem And I hate saying that. Same with the controller issue!!!
Ugh, the next generation is draining with people complaining about the standard business playbook every generation follows. Its not Sony's fault MS decided not to change or upgrade the Xbox controller and its not Sony's fault they are making deals to support their platform but somehow, in some weird way that doesn&...
I understand that MS is going with the most power console pitch on every game but after what they showed during their event last week, the phrase doesn't work, at least for me. And I assume most people won't buy into that as well; but I guess only time will tell. I do wish them luck. I was praying for a different outcome, but I was under whelmed. There are a few gems but not enough to make me want to purchase and XSX.
That is a lie the only thing that was question was whether it was going to be a stand-alone game or DLC. And, Sony answered that question for us. I didn't see anything about the visuals other than it was stunning.
ummm....didn't they state dimensional shifts? so wouldn't different dimensions create different looking products?
Honestly, the list created seem to be a nick pick just to give some negative feedback.
They are all over the place with these articles, didn't post something the other day that we will see a difference?
True, but, I may get tarred and feathered for saying this, this is what MS does; something they are known for. This show didn't surprise me at all. I am disappointed because I expected something different since MS has been doing that so far with the reveal of the XSX. But other than that, I am not surprised. I expect the next one to have significant improvements.
ummm, why would they wait until August to say anything about the PS5. That's a dumb guess sorry. It makes no sense to go that direction. Especially when there are reports of Sony attending or presenting at Phase 1 of the Summer Game Fest
I actually liked the wii u; i think the name killed it.
@BLizardXD
That isn't what he meant. The first XBO had more issues than what some discuss that hindered it, it wasn't just a GPU issue. Additionally we really do not know much about the inner workings of the PS5 but a lot of devs have stated it is put together very well. I think once Sony gives an additional review of the specs of the PS5 we can figure out why some have praised the design. The only negative I have heard about the PS5 comes from a former Sony develop...
Thank you, very well explained. I've been saying this for a while and stopped because people aren't getting it. Best to wait until Sony gives a consumer explanation to start getting people to understand what they did. OT, just glad to see a simple explanation of the CPU capabilities, i assume someone will do a more thorough, but for now this was good.
Also, love this article. Gives a good understanding of what some devs see: 1516d ago 3 agree2 disagreeView comment
While I agree with your comment, I do not believe they will cost the same. Now that we have more information about both systems it clear why Sony is struggling with determining the cost. With the rumors being that the PS5 components cost around 450$ to manufacturing (don't know if the other cost such as the retail, boxing, taxes, etc. are included in that cost) we now see why it is such a struggle to figure out cost. What would you do, make a profit in the beginning (company benefit) or ...
idk, while i welcome it; it really depends on the TV you have. I rather there be an option. While I have 2 TVs in my home that can manage 4k60. I mainly game on the one that doesn't. I don't mind switching.
My concern is what about the people that don't have the option like i do? I just rather have the option to adjust the frame rate.
