they sure are good looking graphics, but the gameplay is what sells me. i had a blast with Gears 1. im drooling in anticipation.

braid is a great game on arcade, but i do believe that the dev also complained about the way that LIVE is set up.. couldnt find the story to post a link, but im pretty sure that i read it on n4g. i believe that he complained of the pricing M$ wanted as well as the size limit.
i think that gears 2 will have the highest sales simply because there are more people with 360's than ps3's and wii's. however, i dont think that gears will have the highest attach rate, nor do i think will win GOTY. i think that will go to LBP for innovation and being the youtube of gaming.
he may have been the first to put avatar-like content into games, but it doesnt change the fact that Microsoft wants nintendo's casual crowd to come to the xbox. so yeah M$, you did copy nintendo. now shut up. all these big companies are acting like my freaking nieces.
words cannot express how excited i am for this game.
i can tell you right now... i have it and i love it. i traded Madden 09 (my brothers game) and UT3 (the game i thought would be more fun). its a blast to play.. especially if you're going for the achievements/trophies.. they just add that extra replay value.. and you cant get em all in one play, which is a huge bonus.
eh, i dont know about adding gta4 to that list. i think we can all agree that it was fun, but very over hyped..
the 360 has had more games in the past (i own 9 compared to 3 on the ps3) but for the holiday and the future, ps3 will have more games. unfortunately, Sony does a crap job of marketing (unlike M$), so not many people will be thinking of future games since only the hardcore/semihardcore gamers actually check websites and know of all of the upcoming games.. sad :( so many good games coming out.. R2 LBP and fable2 are my top games :D
i definitely have some doubts lifted, but i still dont think ill be picking this up. Resistance, Gears, LBP, Fallout 3, Fable 2, and Killzone 2 all seem to be more reliable. Within those games, ill have plently of multiplayer. Also, even as good as that looks, i dont think it can top COD4 as a game. I really dont think that Treyarch has improved that much.. i dont think it will score as bad as cod3, but i dont think itll be good either..

1) Sony may be losing money, and microsoft may have been profitable for a year now, but remember sony is a year behind this gen. give em another year, and who knows, they might catch up.
2) who cares who wins? both will return for another go at the console war, both will be more fun than they are now, and the smart people out there will buy both systems.
Ive been enjoying the exclusives of both for some time now, and i love both the 360 and the ps3. i dont understand...

its not about the graphics (although i do love my hd Solid Snake), its all about gameplay. I love the Gears of War Coop gameplay. I love Resistance's Gameplay. MGS4 gameplay makes me ooze out certain liquids in my pants. I do believe that my playstation has surpassed my 360's GAMEPLAY. the artillery sounds a lot better than the airstrike too.. i hated how inaccurate those damn things were.
im picking up LittleBigPlanet, Fallout 3, Resistance 2, Killzone 2, Fable 2, Guitar Hero World Tour, and Gears 2 all within a few weeks

yeah.. i was completely ticked last year.. lucky for me i have a ps3 this year too. its gonna be so hard to split my time between gears2 and r2.. i need another set of hands.
