Its fueled by the fact that its not very good. Lets not overthink this. The game is not good!
Bullshit marketing term to sucker people into day one adoption.
I respect the reviewer's score because he at least took the time to clearly and competently make his argument.
Yeah but I didn't want to let the truth get in the way of a funny comment! :)
Incidentally, I'm looking VERY much forward to Pikmin 4! Pikmin has always been my jam! Moreso than Zelda actually.
Thank you, I will. And I'll have a way better time than playing what the other consoles are offering.
Meh Im good, thanks. The last few quirky weird games Sony produced werw flops. Id rather Sony focus on AAA games and leave the artsy fartsy stuff to 3rd party/indie developers. Sony is in the business of making high quality, high production value blockbusters designed to reach the greatest number of people. They're not curators of an art museum. Plenty of 3rd party/indie teams out there making those sorts of experiences.
Nintendo: "Please take your time with Tears of the Kingdom because we have nothing else for 2023". LOL!
Good tips! Thanks!
Exactly! You knew it was coming. Any time a game is almost universally hated, here comes "Johnny Insight" with the contrarian viewpoint. The game is bad. Move on.
I mean, Ive enjoyed them. So I cant sit here and say there's too many. For the most part they've all been very good remakes. As long they remain of high quality and people are buying and enjoying them, I think its fine. They help fill the gaps between new releases. This year alone Ive beaten The Last of Us Part 1, RE4, Metroid Prime Remaster, and Dead Space and I loved every single one of those games.
Swimmin' in 7's, just as I suspected.
"Ignore Microsoft..."
Could've ended tbe headline right there!
Its only the future if you can prove to me that high quality, big budget AAA games can be thrown into these services on day one and be sustainable WITHOUT altering game design to include microtransaction or advertising revenue. So far I havent seen any evidence this is the case. When I start seeing games like God of War, Final Fantasy, Zelda, Horizon, Resident Evil, etc go into these services on day one, then I'll believe!
GT7 is amazing! Bought it at launch and still playing it constantly today.
My only issue with the game is the invites to buy certain cars. I'm STILL waiting to receive an invite to purchase the Ferrari FXX K! Is it truly a random invite or do I need to do something in the game to garner an invite?
More like Xbox Series Why? LMAO.
Bullsh_t
Any company who charges for an online service that doesnt even have native voice chat, they deserve the ridicule.
Ragnarok, maybe. However Horizon being true open world makes it even more impressive.
I nominate this as dumbest article of the year and for around here, that's saying something!
Pikmin 4 for me! :)
