The Holographic Versatile Disc HVD, Which I think is capacity and reading speed wise far more superior than current HD-DVD, blue ray or HD VMD. For more inferior on the HCD see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
But even though HD VMD might be the format to convince the masses, specially considering the discs being more than two times cheaper.
Also since there hasn't been a clear ...
At least it's dated from yesterday (6/21/2007)
My hopes are high for the game after seeing the trailer. Hope they weren't over promising.
If it holds up it may become the must have game for the ps3 like Halo3 on the xbox 360 and I sure hope that Halo 3 was under promising in the halo 3 beta.
Since blue ray seems to do well compared to hd dvd, it indeed seems like Sony is doing better.
Their blue ray will help them sell hd tv's.
Seeing is believing so until then. Would be a shame if the Playstation would be out of the game.
So the the administrator of the site was to lazy to write his own review. And decided to pick a comment (large but still) out of a debate
and post it as a article, because of its dept???
"first of he calls Wii a toy for 5 year olds."
and as a reason for Blue Ray "I like Blue Ray over HD DVD; because its blue, nice"
so much dept...
wii and aple, a golden combination, indeed.
For excess violent an it's a Wii title. Microsoft and Sony better up their game. Bring out the carmageddon (banned in 1997).
what's happening here. Everybody's tripping.
If you guys read the article you can read that the new Katamari is more or less like the old Katamari so the basically they are saying it should just be called "old" Katamari.
It's obvious that the interviewer only wanted to hear one thing even though he knew Todd Holmdahl wouldn't say that the Xbox 360 indeed had/ has a large number of defective consoles.
Everybody already know Xbox 360 aren't the most reliable but they are at least fixing it (better late then never).
These kinds of (biased) interviews are just a waste of time.
The sixaxis was more a exchange of functionality not a upgrade.
They should just have upgraded the dual shock with sixaxis.
Which in my eyes is a good business model for making a larger profit. But I wouldn't count out optical media that fast.
maybe you should read the article first, they're not comparing the consoles but more their market share.
Didn't Microsoft sell 10 millon Xbox 360's instead of 5 million mentioned in the article?
doesn't opening up your Xbox voids your warranty, but he thanks for the pictures
Stricter rules in a time when games are getting more realistic makes kinda sense to me.
surely the build quality would have been better, the early batch of products are clearly rushed out looking at the large number of failures posted on the internet. What always has been a risk for early adapters.
Yeah sony's ps3 seemingly doesn't have a large number of failing consoles but it had a good year of extra testing.
The new batches of Xbox 360 don't seem to have such a high failure rate, so people who are scared of failing Xbox 360 should just look for ...
forgetting about xbox live are we.
I don't mind multiple disks. Got used to it a long time ago with FF7 8 and 9 on my ps1.
I doubt that it will bother much people for swapping a disk after playing the halo beta, I am confident in bungy's skills.
free xboxes for everybody
From the beginning Microsoft is known as a console for fp shooters. Microsoft is and has obviously trying to improve this by releasing a franchise like viva pinata, which really is a good game. And ofcours by acquiring rare.
About Sony and their controller....
With the ability to place up to 20 layers (5 gb each)on a single disc with no quality loss in the content stored. This means capacity to record 100 GB or more.
