It could be an xbox 360 killer though, if it was still a exclusive
only problem I have with installing is that the day might come that my hard drive is too full when I bought a new game.
Though if the games are good I really don't care
Launching another first party controller seem very unlikely for sony at least in this generation. Could backfire on them.
The green a button may tell that it's solely for the xb360, though a while ago there where rumors of a breakable ps3 controller. All the rumors could just refer to the same controller.
Played ninja gaiden sigma on ps 3 and ninja gaiden 2 and gow all great games.
I don't have a great imagination but blasting ninja gaiden 2, because it is comparable to ninja gaiden 1 (mentioned by several sites as best action game ever) is just lame.
Setting the line high is a good thing, though is only ment for companies who can afford it. Next gen games could actually cause good developpers to go bankrupt. So don't expect too much true generation ps3 only titles.

Looking at the next gen games it's obvious they have increased in complexity. For some games it will and probably is inevitable to have glitches in the game. One solution for this would be offering a beta something like halo 3 did.
But by doing so it prolongs the development of a game and so increases the cost and a lost in revenue. Which is exactly what it boils down to developers need to bring out their games as quick as possible to the highest standard as possible.

Not really gettng hyped over these pictures, maybe too spoiled with the graphics of MGS. Hope they will, some time soon, have more impressive screenshots online. Hard to get enthousiastic about the game looking at the screenshots. A good game play video would also be nice.
given that sony already revamped their first controller it seems not very likely that ps3 will launch a 3th controller, at least not as a standard cotnroller.
Sounds interesting but with a new controller you will devide the install base it is not likely that developpers will jump on this ship, only thing that will happen is that a few developpers might choose to use this technology while also adding the standar controls, which just is asking for games with bad game play. <...
If I remember correctly this technology has already been patented by another company. Meaning sony bought a license or the company if true
Sadly these games won't be common place, simply because making games like these cost a hell lot of money. But with a growing ps3 and xb 360 install base it seems obvious that bigger maybe better games are in the pipeline for the comming years.
p.s. Bioshock as should also be mentioned as it is a next gen game with high rankings, though not so huge as GTA IV and MGS4.
In terms of RPG and race games there haven't been any games that can match up to GTA IV or met...

They already had problems with pre-orders, this is one game that might not need a huge campaign. For a game like this it might be better to start advertising 1 or two weeks after launch.
