I think the norm for MMO's now is to let you play for free and then charge for additional accessories or other stuff. Being that this is a console MMO on just the one platform I guess they feel like they have to assure themselves of some sort of return on their investment.
I might give it a look. I'm more of a Marvel comics guy but if the community is good and the missions are interesting I could see this being really cool.
Why not put a porno on and hump the couch? Or better yet:
Good point, 357. My prob is that they seem a little overly critical of PS3 exclusives and they never...ever...EVER...talk about a multiplat on PS3. It's always the 360 version. The GT5 review pushed me over the edge. WHen they were bishing about the music I wondered if they'd ever played a GT game. They're alot like those other two guys on Weekend Confirmed that felt the need to troll the GT5 discussion.
Giantbomb is funny and entertaining, but trusting their reviews is a stretch. They didn't even know that custom soundtracks are possible on the PS3. I'd maybe trust their reviews on multiplats and 360 exclusives, but I wouldn't go to them for anything exclusive to the PS3 (see the very negative GT5 review as one example).
yet another gem by R* that makes me glad to be a gamer. The game was an absolute work of art from beginning to end. Can't wait to see what they do with the franchise next.
JIZZ...IN...MY PANTS!!!!
Good point. Everyone keeps saying Move is more expensive but the cost of entry is much less than it is with Kinect. (Sounds somewhat similar to what we use to argue about on here about PS3 actually being cheaper than 360 once you factor in the cost of all the additional stuff you need for 360).
Anyway, I think people probably feel the Move is an improvement on the Wii whereas Kinect is something completely different.
Absolutely so excited for this. Drake's back baby! Time to replay Uncharted 1 & 2 in preparation.
How the heck do you have so many bubbles?!?!
Bubbles to you, OP. You said what I would've. BFBC2 was absolutely amazing and I'm so so sorry I sold it. I can't even remember what game I bought with the money I got from selling it. Anyway, BFBC2 was incredible and it's DEF better than Black Ops. The destructibility of the environments, the vehicles, and the LACK of killstreaks take it above any COD in my opinion.
Oh wait, now I remember why I sold it. Those trophies were effing insane. Getting the plat ma...
Amazing what a new tv will do for your games. Surprised you didn't cop a 3D tv. Good show.
Patience young sky walker. Just like with the PS2, PS3, and now the move, good things will come to those who wait.
Didn't Pach say Move has already sold like 2 million units? WTH was the author of this thinking?
Too little too late. Sold the game while demand for it is still high. Almost got all my money back too. Picked up MW2 and Bayonetta.
Won't be buying another COD unless Activision provides dedicated servers.
Wow. Gametrailers gave it AAA? I am shockedz. Kudos to them and to anyone that picked up GT5.
The bubble system is a complete mystery. I've seen more people lose bubbles than I've seen people increase in bubbles. There are only a couple of people with five bubbles or above. I think I actually liked the old system better.
It's the five years. Everything is processed through the prism of "this is all you could do in five years?" There is a bright side to this. These GT5 reviews really showcase which sites are good at their jobs and which aren't as good.
So sell them and use the credits towards buying or tuning a car you want. That's what I do.
Color me surprised. That motion controller market is really substantial. Best thing about Sony and MS launching their respective motion devices is that it'll probably extend the life of their current consoles.
You guys are going to love it. I played ME1 & 2 over the winter break and if you loved KOTR you're going to love this as well. Surprised so many of you are getting the digital version (guess I'm in the minority of people that buy the retail copy so I can sell it later).
