I think you won't see much differences between the two consoles in multi-platform games.
3rd party devs like Ubisoft have built their engine around all next-gen systems. If the PS4 really is all that more powerful, you won't see it in 3rd party games. Perhaps some better performance and things like AA. Which is nice in itself, but it won't make for a totally different experience.

Don't like the painfully obvious outdated visuals. The level they showed at E3 is also a bit too cluttered or something, just looks very messy.
Gameplay seems fun. I like the jet-like boosts and all that, just don't like the titans. Not much hope of Respawn getting rid of them though, as it's kind of the main hook of the game. :P

It really doesn't look all tha.t Foliage is current-gen, NPC's look and animate terribly. One thing it has going for it is the draw distance and the city design is great as well.
But all in all I'm not impressed. Especially when considering this is an AAA 1st party next-gen exclusive.
Everyone is blaming Kinect, but I blame the bloody TV crap they included. That should've been a seperate SKU, because I don't need it and it's worthless in Europe anyway.

Actually, I think you are all a bit in denial. Techdemos are absolutely meaningless.
Begin last gen we saw countless beautiful techdemos and none of them were anywhere near realistic and highly misleading. That's just the nature of techdemos.
Doesn't mean the PS4 won't be getting some fantastic looking games (just look at The Division and MGS5 for example), but don't expect visuals like this techdemo in an ACTUAL GAME...you're just setting...

And to me, COD4 MP is better than CS and Battlefield combined and I highly doubt BF3 will top it either. It's just not my type of gameplay. I like the fast paced action and superiour aiming/controls of the COD franchise.
BF3 has some fantastic character animations though!
What kind of comparison is this? Why not just attach the before/after screens together so I don't have to open them seperately, and can see both screens at one glance.

Not really. Remember some of the Crysis screeshots back then? They were in-game and looked absolutely life-like. Remember the Crysis vs real-life screenshot comparisons? Undistinguishable.
Seen it in motion? Yeah, not photorealistic.
Battlefield 3 does take it to a whole new amazing level though, but it's still quite a bit from photorealism in motion.
Still, the game looks incredible and nothing out there comes even remotely close.
Hmm, on closer inspection it looks like there's probably just two USB ports, divided by a spacing in the middle, and the ethernet port is indeed missing.
The ports looked too big to be USB, but if you look at the HDMI port and then compare it to the bottom port on the right, it's too small to be ethernet. I think I initially misjudged the dimensions.

If you look at the right on the back. It looks like an ethernet port on the bottom and two usb ports above it. All cramped together in that little spacing.
