Who is Wes Fenlon?
Anyway, I do agree to a certain extent. I definitely prefer a small set of interesting environments over a large number of boring environments.
But having some filler to give the illusion of vastness also has a function. If done well, and as long as these filler planets don't take anything away from the interesting planets, then I am all for it.
The risk is that too much development resources have been allocated t...
Looks interesting actually. Hope it has good RPG systems/mechanics.
😘
I’m not sure what to make of it. It really comes across as a L4D type of game (meh) like others have said, but surely this is not the case, coming from Arcane?
😘
That actually looked pretty impressive graphically he the style is quite unique as well. In a way it reminds me of Oddworld Strangers Wrath.
Nice surprise show this indeed!
😘
That actually looks really good. Hype level definitely high now!
But it almost seems too ambitious as someone mentioned here earlier. It's just too good to be true omg hype sorry haha! 😅
😘
Just give me Fable this year and I’ll forgive you MS. 😅
😘
That is exactly the biggest issue here. The mods on this site are actively enforcing this behaviour by very selective moderation. I’ve been on this site long enough to have noticed the patterns and how could you not really.
I mean I love my Xbox and PlayStation consoles, but come on, they are just pieces of equipment. Why people get so heavily invested in their manufacturers really is beyond me.
😘
Without hope, there is no…hope?
😘
A space RPG like Mass Effect/Starfield or an immersive sim like Deus Ex.
😘
It’s definitely not the same as that era, because their focus this time around does seem to be games. However, Microsoft is still recovering from their lack of investments in new games and studios the past 10 years (riding the Gears/Forza/Halo wave). And it’s biting them in the back now.
😘
Ok well in that case…enjoy.
😘
I don't like Square Enix.
😘
Agreed. They need to show actual lengthy, polished gameplay and release a suprise game this year. That would certainly redeem them a bit.
😘
Another horror game? Do we really need another horror game?
😘
I’m really enjoying this game so far (40 hours in). Only real disappointment for me is the lack of any settlements that really wowed me. All settlements are just so tiny and stale (except Plainsong which is georgeous, but still just not very expansive). And I know people attribute this to the lore, but I don’t buy in that excuse at all.
Apart from that, the game has so much to offer in terms of fun gameplay, beautiful vista’s, points of interest, etc. And the gameworld itse...
How does MS keep missing the mark so badly with its biggest in-house franchise? It’s a genuine question btw. Is 343 just not up to the task? All these years I have heard mostly negative sentiments surrounding their efforts in delivering a proper Halo experience. Perhaps time to give another studio a try?
I did play some MP at release and quite enjoyed it actually, but to me the SP should have been the real icing on the cake and it failed miserably in my opinion.
Perhaps a departure from software?
Eh…eh? ;)
I really hope so. Currently 25 hours in and loving it.
Only disappointment for me is lack of bigger hub like cities. Might still find one (doubt it), but so far just really small settlements.
But as a whole, I'm in love with this game!
- Fixed multiple instances where Aloy could get stuck in geometry
Good! This has happened quite a lot already during my 10 hours playthrough so far.
It's another Forza Motorsport I guess. Looks nice. But yeah...what else is there to say lol.
