Definitely, I agree.
"its too bad thier a split on standards. some have high standards and others just settle."
This was the reason I replied the way I did, it's a typical N4G fanboy comment, and my comment was mearly my own opinion. "Double standards" yourself...
Hey look what Gamingisfornerds posted in another thread:
"Lol at these kind of articles
Seriously, who gives a sh*t?!
Or do the 360 fanboys now feel they have something ...
Yes it is.
Keep it up, I'll outbubble you anyway! ;)
( for now atleast, I have a feeling I won't have any left after the PS3 fanboys are done with me! :p )
Seriously, who gives a sh*t?!
Or do the 360 fanboys now feel they have something to brag about? Lol.
Crackdown is 10 times the game Infamous could ever dream of being. Don't expect the Sony fanboys to admit this though. Ofcourse anything Sony must be better.
STFU!
Pretty please.
I think it's funny I get 10 disagree's for that statement. And you know what's funnier? They're all from PS3 fanboys jumping on the Pitchford bandwagon just because he said something negative about Valve, at which Gabe resides.
So when I say Pitchford is a tool, they take it as a personal attack against the PS3. Yes, that's how disturbed you PS3 fanboys really are.
Really, that is "evidence"?
Lol.
Which makes it difficult to take anything serious coming out of his foul mouth.
it does
You're all a bunch of overreacting, hypcritical idiots. It's a freaking game, just like ALL OF YOU have been explaining to Jack Thompson over and over again.
Now all of a sudden this is gone to far? Really?! Give me a break. I bet if this were any other game other than MW2, you would be defending it rather than attacking it. That's because this place is infested with idiot hypocrits.
I don't think it's as bad as an MMO in that sense, but you can look at it that way yes. The quality and feel of the controls and aiming just aren't up to snuff and it's a result of not giving them enough attention.
People looks at FPS's as something very simple and achievable, but the truth is quite the opposite. Very FEW devs actually get the fundamental shooter mechanincs right, especially the aiming. If these fundamental mechanics feel off, the whole game suffers from it.
Constantly backtracking in repetetive environments collecting loot of which less than 1% is actually worthwile? All this wrapped in awkward controls and combat that lacks any sense of impact?
Can't say the game has impressed me so far. It has it's charm, but not enough to win me over.
These tod mods often only work in certain lighting conditions. In direct sunlight the game can look great with certain TOD settings, but when you go into the shadows or indoors, all goes apesh*t.
Not to put down the tremendous efforts of the TOD artists, but taking a few screenshots under perfect conditions does not make the entire game look that near photorealism. I've tried them out myself and it's only at certain set points, does the game look as good as the screenshots abov...
You wear the tinfoil hats with flair!
What a bunch...
Well, I was willing to give the game a fair chance after all the praise and after enjoying Oblivion.
Problem was the combat just felt very poor and all in all it felt too much "been there, done that" in respect to Oblivion. Those are things you don't notice untill you actually play the game and not something you will during this so called "research" of yours.
My point was, that the poor aspects of this game should be judged as such, not with t...
The poor combat mechanics, an ugly and un-intuitive menusystem and repetitive environments is what made the game unappealing to most who don't like the game.
3 maps rehashed a hundred times you mean.
Fair enough! :)
And yeah, those 'machine gun snipers' are annoying as hell indeed!
But I want Deus Ex !!
