This game seems like it might live up to its initial hype after all. The "hype train" has been more like a roller coaster but it really looks like it'll end on a high note.

This is stupid, you shouldn't be required to update for 4k playback, that's the main feature of the revision. It should be capable right out of the box. This makes no sense. Usually all you have to do is click yes on a license agreement or something.

As long as it's more powerful than the WiiU and doesn't overheat I'm all-in. Hopefully they make the battery easily detachable/replaceable just in case it has a poor battery life or its battery life is ruined just from the nature of the device (over charging when docked).
Can't people just sign in through the xbox store on a pc or whatever? It's not like you need a console or even a gold subscription. Just sign in so they don't delete your account. Wish they had this rule on PSN, could finally free up all those user names that are unavailable because people just wanted to take a cool name then never use it again.

This game wasn't shown too early, it was supposed to have a beta or demo in april of last year http://n4g.com/news/1575310... but the game got blasted in previews for the fighting system or slow pace. As I recall, there were people buying tons of PS3s and connecting them in clusters to make "cheap supercomputers" with that Linux functionality. It was rumored to be the (actual) reason why Sony removed the functionality and part of the reason why the games purchased attach rate was so low when compared to the 360. Something about the power to price ratio made the PS3 a cheap option so those saying people could just have bought/built a computer are wrong.

It looks so good or runs so well that they have a hard time believing it's running on a PS4 perhaps?
The media player app released during E3 of last year, at that moment it its "perfect Cell" form (for me). All the big announcements that came along with that just killed off the thoughts of competition even existing (for me). I wasn't expecting those games to release in under a year so Sony hasn't tripped up yet imo.
Never finished an Uncharted story campaign, always played them for the multi-player (fell in love with Uncharted 2). I know I'm in the minority but people like me do exist. I do appreciate the single-player being there though, it'd be great if games would let you purchase the modes separately ($30 each or $40 for story $20 for multi-player).
