I'm buying unreal 3, but it has been said over an over, it's still the same old game with a little new. It'll be awesome to play on PSN and im sure a lot of the xbox people feel that way about their Halo 3

Im looking for the same thing. And i also want to know the deal with optical audio. Is it good or better than HDMI? Im already using HDMI for the display so is optical the next best option for audio since my HDMI is occupied?

I havn't played it and i don't think I'll be giving it a try either. It's six-axis only gameplay is what's keeping me away. I'm no good with it, i tried it out on MotorStorm and almost immediately switched it back, i cant imagine having it as my ONLY option.
Sucks too cuz i was real;ly excited about the game a year ago...

The problem isnt that they're already starting to work on the Xbox 3, it's what happened with the original thats... scaring(?) people. Starting to work on a new console years ahead of time is natural but in M$ case they shouldn't let word of this get out because the mass market (non-video game site/magazine readers) will thinks it means that the next one is coming soon and they wont end up buying the current model in fear of it becoming obsolete in a short amount of time.

Well im just about positive. Kens kick is a good indication in itself that it wont be 2D but what makes me think so even more is the fact that SFHD is coming out and it WILL BE 2D. I don't think they'd release two similar games like that so close to each other (like a year is close :P )

I got this, along with a PS3 controller from amazon for $20 and a 4Gb SD card from BestBuy for $27. made out pretty well. Should also include my 80Gb PS3 purchase from K-mart for $399 but that was a week earlier...
Tomorrow im going back to K-mart to pick up some games with the $15 and $5 off coupons i got with the PS3 purchase :)

The strange part is the use of the term "stand-alone high-def disc players". What about upconverting dvd players? They output at 1080p so why arent they counted? They're outputting HD video signals too.
