you aren't opening up the machine, you're taking a plate off, and then unscrewing the drive cover...
If you can't handle that...
Good on you to group all PC Gamers together as if we're all the same rabid fanboy you encounter online.
No.
I'm personally conflicted, this list has nothing that would make me buy a Xbox One X. I want to want one, but after "Play anywhere" there is next to zero reason to play anything on the xbox (if you have a decent gaming PC). One one hand, outside of being a decent 4k Blu Ray player my xbox sits unused - feeling like a wasted purchase, and on the other hand I get to play microsoft exclusives where I prefer to anyway.
Back to the article, the only thing here that...
If you check out the site, it is literally just articles listing games on sale on amazon.
Don't buy the games using links from this site, they embed their affiliate code in every link. Shady AF.
They also embed their affiliate code so they get a kickback from any sales from users who use that link.
It's a simulation, you'd have to have an HDR display, and the file would need to be HDR as well. This is just to give you an idea of what the differences would be.
lol. Playing a game in 144hz is fucking sublime. at that point it is all about the feel of the game. Admittedly the higher you go, you'll start to run into diminishing returns, but there is a benefit. Saying there is no point in higher than 60 is rather narrow minded.
What games have fps swings between 14 and 144 fps? lol...
For a small number of PC gamers I'd agree with you, but certainly not the majority. The problem with going between playing on PC and then on Console (for me at least, and I have an Xbox One S, and PS4 Pro), is just how jarring the difference can be. When you are used to 60+ fps at 1080p or higher resolutions its hard to focus on the game, because you are hyper aware of the lower resolution and/or framerate.
For the first few hours of playing most console games, I'm ...
Both the PS3 and Xbox 360 were up there with high end PCs at the time. The best PCs were still faster, but also much more expensive. The PS4 and Xbox One were the first consoles in a long time to equal ~ midrange Gaming PCs at launch.
If the economy didn't tank we would have received much faster consoles this time around, and the last generation wouldn't have lasted as long. Both Sony and Microsoft wanted to make money on their consoles on day one, which previously ...
Well, the bar is pushed higher every year. Games use more and more intensive techniques, they don't just stay idle as GPUs become more powerful. It will likely be a few more years before we can comfortably play at 4k.
I don't really have a problem with it here, to be honest. I think people are getting upset because it is shoved in our faces all the time, when a dev does this (and often just for the sake of it) they shout it from the roof tops... as if we should pat them on the back for being so very progressive and inclusive. In the end, it feels hamfisted and shoe horned in. you want to include gays, women trans all races whatever, just. fucking. do. it. Don't tell me about how you have the moral ...
FFS... It is selling well and receiving critic praise because it is a damn good game. Stop trying to make everything about gender/race/sexuality politics. So fucking tired of hearing about this. If you'll excuse me, I'll go back to playing Horizon.
I picked up the ultimate edition for 30 bucks from origin recently. If I get more than 30 hours out of it, I'll be happy.

$400/$500 Is still expensive...
latency? Thats the big one. I've tried ps now, and similar services like nvidia grid. Its not worth it for me. The experience of playing games streamed is sub par to playing them locally. Play anywhere is not microsoft's answer to remote play.
I would love to not play my ps4 exclusives on my ps4, but instead on my much more powerful PC. Uncharted in higher resolutions, at higher frame rates, and with better visuals as well? yes please. Don't be so closed minded,...
YES PLEASE.
except it's about as hard as putting a case on a phone... if you've done that before then you have the skills to do this. People just get way to anxious about tech. this has nothing to do with being techy at all.
