"Who listens to podcasts anymore?"
People?
"nobody's gonna sit through hours of people talking."
Its 1 hour long and you are allowed to do other things while you listen to it. Like how people listen to music and do other things... Do you have some extreme ADD or something? Its people talking about a topic you should find interesting - why the ignorance?
It was mentioned.....in the article...
...thanks for the insight? :/
So?
That's up to Game Freak and The Pokémon Company - both of whom have said that the main Pokémon games will stay handheld only, consoles will get spin-offs i.e. Colosseum, Snap, Gale of Darkness and of course Pokken Tournament. With that being the case and the very real possibility that the NX will be a hybrid console/handheld with some power, as well as the AR elements of Pokémon GO being the start of something for the future - the next-next-gen installment of Pokémon m...
Why not? The Other M basically spat in the face of everything we knew about Samus and made her a whiney reluctant hero - people still liked it for the gameplay though.
"When you have a loyal fan base for a game series practically begging you to make another proper installment and you decide you're going to ignore them and do this (which no one ever asked for), your game deserves to fail"
You mean like how everybody was pissed off when Metroid Prime was first revealed? That really turned into a dog's dinner too, didn't it? :/
"There probably wouldn't have been any backlash if the game removed Metroid from the title"
and isn't that just a little bit pathetic?
Except for when they already had 2 spin-offs with Hunters and Pinball. The later being a stupid idea which was panned before release, only to go on and then get high reviews and praise from gamers. It was even described as "fully realized and well-tuned hybrid of pinball play and Metroid Prime atmosphere". If a fecking pinball game get such praise, i find it ridiculous and pathetic that Federation Force is getting so much hate. Fanboys are wankers.
I really don't understand the hate tbh. From what i can see this is a 4 player online/co-op, MOBA where everyone has different classes and attributes, with puzzles and exploration, all set in the Metroid Prime universe but also expanding the lore of said universe. That sounds amazing! The only thing i'm disappointed about is the fact it's only on handheld and not console.
I've seen people complaining that it looks chibi and too cute to be metroid - only becaus...

"Good enough for Miyamoto"
It's not very well implemented but the reward system is pretty cool. I like receiving game content and little bonuses by playing the game, or earning an otherwise pointless Achievement or Trophy.
Crash Team Racing - Bring it back!!
I wonder if we'll hear anything about this?

Probably not but one can hope
Looks like my arse is giving out knowledge and you're just talking through yours! :D
Ever since that amateur 'news' realised it could get tonnes of hits on N4G, if it was negative towards Nintendo and to a lesser extent the XOne.
"Why are the sales and fanbase (Data seems to suggest and support) of Nintendo dwindling?"
Just like to point out that Nintendo's exclusives on the WiiU - the 'dead console' - are outselling the exclusives on the PS4 and XOne.
(What i love most about this comment is i can hear the furious tapping of keyboards as people rush to vgchartz haha)
So, your view and knowledge of WW1 is focused solely on a basterdised understanding of The Battle of the Somme? You don't get a "total number of military and civilian casualties in World War I was over 38 million: there were over 17 million deaths and 20 million wounded, ranking it among the deadliest conflicts in human history." by sitting in trenches and just having merry jaunts into No Man's Land.
Oooo careful when lighting a cigarette at night! If an enemy snipe...

Erm... you do have access to the internet, right? - http://www.historynet.com/w...
P.S. Here's something that is stupidly delightful and quirky - " The American Springfield used a bolt-action design that so closely copied Mauser’s M1989 that the US Government had to pay a licensing fee to Mauser, a practice that continued until America entered the war...
What, if anything, shows or suggests the NX is going to be "backward looking technology"?
