Sony announced the ps3 nearly 2years before it came out in Europe?
True but there's no reason to tease something shown behind closed doors.
I agree, it would be a huge announcement.
Unfortunately those 10 minutes will be spent showing off a move game nobody cares about. A game like God of War is more worthy of a big e3 reveal than medieval moves imo.
MS recently opened 7 new studios. I think this issue will be rectified.
Rockstar North didn't do Mac Payne 3
I assume they have a certain number of lives and you can knock them out the arena much like smash bros.
This was the article in question:

I'd go one further and say FFX was the turning point. It was essentially you walking everywhere via long corridors and there wasn't a world map to explore.
But for some reason, people look back on it fondly despite it having many of the flaws that are also present in XIII.
They said last week there's no plans to make a sequel to GRID
As soon as I was being told to knock down cardboard aliens in Dirt 3 I turned it off. If they want to return to Rally then they need to start a new franchise..
There's going to be four games in the series apparently. Rumoured to be an RPG-Shooter. I hope save games carry over from one to another, like in Mass Effect (though I doubt it). If so though, I hope you'll be able to transfer the save file to the new console, else I'd probably prefer they all released on next-gen machines.
But yes, seems right about the DLC and overall this news isn't the biggest surprise ever. I'm sure it'll come to Playstation event...
Well as much as its easy to blame Activision I bet most AAA third party contracts are similar. We just don't normally get to see them. And like PT says.. Bungie agreed to it.
Sony may have a market capital of $19B but they do in fact also have $10B locked away somewhere in cash reserves purely for acquisitions.
But regardless, this article is speculative and silly
Interesting but probably unrelated fact? MS recently opened a studio called Microsoft Game Studios LEAP
Chill guys, it still looks like PS will get the game. If its going to export choices like mass effect then honestly the delay might be good because you'll get all four games on the ps4. (I know I'm speculating but it was rumoured to be an rpg shooter so..)
The XMB is a great idea, just poorly implemented in it's current state. It's too bloated with stuff all over the place and it's not uniformed. I can select an app and suddenly the whole background changes. Either have it so all items do that or no items do (my preference).
I know it's picky but it's little things like that which make it feel like it lacks that bit of polish that a console nowadays really should have.
I honestly can't see Sony bothering with 2&3 so late on in the PS3 lifespan - it just seems like too much work. I don't doubt they are working on both for a future console though.
Chrome would be sweet and Sony would be smart to get in with Google. In fact, they should partner more with google and let them design their whole OS for PS4 because honestly, SCE Japan are behind the times. Not their fault, just that Japan still hasn't embraced the networked era as...
I'm sure I read earlier this week that the next game in the series would be for next gen consoles - so for them to be discussing the early stages so openly is interesting...
The game has only just started development. We won't hear any news about it for at least a year
