The ps3 does have a stupid patch system. For example I put in bfbc2 and have to download a 2gb patch before I can play. Why? It turns out its the Vietnam content which I hadn't even purchased. But I had to download it anyway. Its the same for every game. The patches should be separate from the actual dlc like on PC and 360. If you want to plug and play it isn't really possible

No that makes no sense. If they have a model where you manually remove the disc why would there be an option at all in the OS? Surely if they revert to a ps1/gamecube style then you'd have to physically get up and press the button to open the top? If it can be remotely opened then I don't see him that is going to be any cheaper for Sony than the current solution.
No I think they changed it to simply make the distinction between eject and remove. On PC nowadays people...

The MGS1 story was amazing back in the day but all these years on the bits that have been added have just made it stupid. We really don't need to revisit the past and mgs4 wrapped up the ending. I think all the games were fantastic but sometimes you need to stop when you're on top.

Mass Effect always had universal ammo. ME1 even had infinite ammo. Maybe you were thinking of inferno and cryo ammo etc. Which were basically upgrades

I don't agree with the post above but Im fairly sure the reason why Resi4 went in a new direction was because everyone moaned that the franchise had become boring and stale. Now it seems everyone wants to go back.
