You play as a new character again although hawke and warden might be in it. Save importing should have much more of an effect.

I doubt it will be for GTAV as we know Rockstar seem to shy away from these things. More likely to be Bioshock and Borderlands. But wow at all the disagrees for the fact above!

Off the top of my head these are new IPs for the main consoles this gen. They have also published some MMOs and stuff on Wii like Boom Blox etc.
EA are certainly no worse than any other gaming company.

Initially I felt it was fairly disappointing but having seen the rest it wasn't too bad. MS shouldn't be relying on others to have a bad showing though so they must still do much more in the future.
I like how people are moaning about all the ports and then say it would have been brilliant if they had shown Metroid/Zelda/Donkey Kong/Mario etc.
I'm glad they didn't show off much of their beloved franchises. It's a shame they missed a golden opportunity to show off something new though, because a new console launch would have been a perfect time to introduce them. They would have got plenty of coverage this year as well.
They have, MS have like 7 new studios working on new IP for next-gen.

Indeed, I thought the same after last years conference and so did a lot of people. A year on and I don't ever remember Nintendo talking about the console itself yesterday. They certainly never showed it on stage, it was all about the controller.
I agree with PT that Nintendo might struggle with marketing this to the everyday person.
I think Battle Royale and Beyond are q4 releases.
With MS and Sony having somewhat restrained showings Nintendo had the best opportunity they'll ever get to steal the limelight. They failed and I for one was disappointed
AFAIK Sony first party games don't tend to be 60fps
