I think the ps3 has more life left than the 360. Lets just wait and see and not get sucked into the hype such rumours can bring..

Honestly I think the big three MIA games (Agent, TLG and FFv13) should just be PS4 games now. I know the publishers would hate it because of the install base but it would really be a big boost for Sony to have these sorts of games as launch/near launch releases for their next console.
I think Sony should have not leaked Beyond and announced God of War, Battle Royale etc. weeks ago. People were expecting more surprises because of that. What they showed was still very nice though.
It's not a next gen title, Ubisoft said it was for PS3/360/PC but may also come out for other consoles if they are around by the time it releases. Besides, I'm fairly sure when they demoed it, they were using a dualshock3 controller
Agent was announced by Jack Tretton in the Sony conference. When MS announced GTA4 it was Peter Moore. The point being that Rockstar themselves haven't attended for years but of course their games have shown up

Surely the install base for 360/PS3 combined is much greater than the 3DS. I think it's more to do with them needing a much higher budget for HD development.
With a few exceptions, it's fair to say that the Japanese have struggled to adapt and I think handheld games are a safe option for them - As a business, I guess you're always going to go for the choice that makes the most profit.
Honestly if Sony shows that as well as the JP games (or some) and with a possibility of something from Rockstar then that will ve a great show from them that would be tough to beat. And that's without touching vita. The thing is, I wouldn't count it out its very plausible.
Tbf last year Sonys conference was nice and solid but unspecacular. I agree that the WiiU was a confusing debut. It didnt impress me much but the new hardware reveal was still kinda exciting I guess.

I agree. With both points. Nintendo have their style and I don't think they'll change. It will be interesting to see if they can adapt to the HD era better than some of the other Japanese devs
