MS has actually had its VR tech in the works for a while, that and AR tech. They are probably at a point where they are trying to decide which direction they want to go, but they also have the luxury of not needing to rush it. If we watch Occulus and Morpheus, if they are teaching us anything right now it's that there is no point rushing because neither are getting quality support at the moment, and both have bugs that need to be worked out to make them staples of the gaming world.

If you don't own one yet, the best time is between now and October. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I love that I own all three, but day by day X1 solidifies itself as my favorite of the three (not to take anything away from the other two and each have their strengths and weaknesses...but X1 is easily my favorite overall).

EXACTLY!!! I've never been this excited for a remake of a game...usually I just see them as money grabs, but this seems to be the first time a game has given me a chance to do something I always wanted to do which is switch MP maps between games seamlessly....

You say this as if it wouldn't sell millions like every other Halo game. It's stood the test of time, and continues to be one of the best franchises EVER.
I'm gonna get crap for this, but that would have a been a great use for cloud compute services....something that isn't necessary for the game to run, but would add a huge extra element that could (potentially) require a ton of processing power. That way, the 95-99% of the time you are connected to the internet you could use it to take out an outpost or stop a chase...but if you aren't connected, then you just don't have that option.

Kinda where I am with it. I LOVE Kinect, but I don't really game with is. I was admittedly surprised with how well KSR worked with it, but other than that, as far as gaming goes, I just like when it adds to the experience, not when it IS the experience. i.e. Forza Horizon 2 type stuff, or when making noises alerts enemies, etc. I can see in the future that they will be able to do more with it...the Tech itself is actually rather amazing.
