I think in 2016 or 2017 we'll see Assassin's Creed: Open Your Wallet... a blatant copy and paste iteration with one or two minor improvements, exploiting the loyal fanbase for everything they can.

With a mobile companion app call Assassin's Creed: Deep in Your Pockets... where it is a race to see who can complete the most micro-transactions as quickly as possible.

There will be a limited edition version as well, this will come with a credit appli...

Fallout has never been about graphics... in fact, any game that touts itself on visuals is missing the point. Any gamer who spends their day analyzing pixels and launching wars against downgrades needs to check their priorities.

Fallout is about immersion. I'd even go out on a limb and say (for me at least), it was far more involved than Elder Scrolls games were. If they make the experience of FO 4 even deeper than New Vegas, anyone who invests time in the game won't...

It's not going to episodic, the title of this post is misleading. This is similar to complaining about DLC and expansions for GTA:Online... which are awesome, and no one takes issue with Rockstar expanding upon their game for free.

That's what IO Interactive is doing. This won't be like a Tell Tale game where we pay for it in $20 chunks. The initial release in December will be a full, standalone game. Then, throughout 2016, they'll be releasing missions/event...

Hmmm... I think that Io isn't explaining this very well. My understanding from them was that HITMAN will be a self-contained game w/ a finite storyline upon launch, and that additional contracts/missions will be unveiled at later dates as part of an expanding game.

These "episodes" or expansions also will not cost any additional money.

I love Hitman, didn't so much care for Absolution. While the mechanics of Absolution are definitely very ...

Agreed 100%... some of the levels in Blood Money and Hitman 2 were epic. The Casino, the neighborhood (A New Life), the airport are some of my favorites.

The possibilities were seemingly endless at the time, if IO can relinquish some of their linearity from Absolution and bring it back to open, semi-unpredictable missions, that would be great.

LOL... what?! Why does this matter?

Ohhhhhh... now the male fans have something to hold their drinks. Perfect. Now I care!

Thanks! Only commenting on the troll image... I'll keep my eye out on the game development however.

I did not click the link. I don't have a meaningful opinion. But, that image looks like Golem and ET had a baby.

That is all.

Such a lose/lose proposition... a bunch of whiny critics who don't think graphics look good enough, and then the same people come running with pitch forks if they think a "downgrade" occurred.

It really, really isn't that big of a deal. If you get all bent out of shape over the shader quality details of rust textures, perhaps you should give up gaming and get into photography?

The endless complaining over such petty $hit is unbelievably ann...

Seriously... best feedback I've ever seen before on an N4G thread. Couldn't click Agree hard enough for these comments. It's an untapped gold mine of feedback for Square Enix, to help take Hitman where it deserves to go.

If they can put Hitman at the same level as The Last of Us & GTA... it would be fantastic.

I agree, Blood Money felt like the most solid Hitman since 2 came out.

Absolution was good. Just not great. But felt like a tech demo. Very rigid, harder to make random encounters entertaining (like the casino & neighborhood missions in Blood Money).

The rules need to be loose again. Make it truly free form in how you complete the goals.

lol... at least they'd wrap up the K&L IP... give it some respect. I like the idea! Haha. Make it DLC so it is outside of the main story.

Well, that's the best one I've seen thus far... Boris the Blade is amazing.

I don't think I made it past 2 hours... I could see how repetitive the game was before the shrink wrap was completely removed.

1600 hours @ my billable rate could buy a new Lamborghini... lol

The only game I've played has been GTAV for the most part (aside from trying a few other games here and there), since it's release I think I've spent a grand total of 180 hours in over 2 years.

How people can spend 1,000 - 2,000 hours on...

Sorry - I had to use clips that were already in my library due to having limited time, I should've applied a filter to make it more 80's like:

This one is a better video - just not part of the competition:

How do they already know what some of the DLC is?!

Hahaha... come on... this is just pure, unfiltered greed. There is a line between capitalism and greed, this has been crossed very blatantly.

No one is telling you whether or not to buy it... we are simply expressing disbelief for how many games have been released under the AC brand.

It's astonishing. And not in a good way.

But if you've got the time to complete each major game they release every 6-12 months, by all means, keep them fed!
