I don't think the "bad players" lobbies still exist... it just changes your mental state while forcing you to pay for their insurance.
Eventually, if you go too crazy, I think the game puts an auto-bounty on your head and it takes a long time to drop from red to white.
And, yes, while it IS GTA, people spend some serious loot on their cars, so it's annoying if someone goes around blowing them up without good reason.
I wouldn't count on modders being able to make any kinds of "official" GTA:Online games/types outside of the Rockstar editor itself.
If there is money involved - they're going to try and protect that as best as possible.
I am really curious to see how they are going to handle mods... there will need to be a really careful balance between edits made and how that may impact online play/money.
It would be cool if they had a ...
The Silliest Article I've Ever Read Came Out About 1 Hour Today
What!? They predicted this a year ago... impressed... and concerned... but mostly impressed.
Damn Lukas! You beat me to it... I was scrolling down to write "Murica!" exactly as you have it...
A hat tip to you.
Nope! Definitely could see how someone might not get into LotR Shadow of Mordor... I love it personally, but, can still quickly identify some faults.
I'm one of the weird people who doesn't like Bioshock (I've played every game in the series too)... so I understand that feeling of "I really don't like this game, but, I feel like a should*"
Back to Mordor!
Did you happen to see the comparison video/screen shots? It is VERY noticeable (much more than I thought it would be), even to someone with limited ability to detect differences. Not to mention they are actually improving the game itself, better physics, more traffic, added wildlife, new activities and likely even more content/features.
I'm the first person to dismiss "remastered" games, movies, music, etc... but this is not a simple remaster.
...
Sweet... DLing this later...
Nerdstradamus Predicts: The sequel to Mordor will be an always online version where you can play as Humans or Uruks... skill development, political movements up and down, and siege/base takeovers. Develop your characters and climb the ranks while fighting/spying/sabotaging other actual players.
If you must know:
I knew what it was at the core, but shocked at ultimately how shallow and repetitive it became. Even played the beta... I was hoping for large scale battles, huge enemies (like the giant spider mech from Halo), fluid/non linear character development...
What can I say? I'm a gaming optimist that wanted something new to play with my friends. Optimism was shattered after the first week or so.
So... I sold it. My faith in Bu...
Philly would be awesome... I'm from Philly, I can't imagine aggression levels spiking much higher than they already are around here!
Fallout in Philly would be chaos. Just constant fighting... Eagles fans refusing to admit that the team fell apart.
Every car = flipped
HA!
You kind of blew this article up, didn't you?
I remember that announcement as well. Good work.
Meh. The mechanics were good, but, rinse, repeat and grind? Come on, what year is it?
Nonsense. Sold it.
Much more fun to play something like Mordor, Forza or even stick with GTA V... heck, I'd rather replay Skyrim than to waste more time w/ Destiny.
The "loot genre" - nice! This is what we're calling uninspired and repetitive games now? Whatever, to each their own.
Right.... hahaha... this ad agency is doing this to draw attention to themselves. It is a PR stunt.
Perhaps they will be funded (which is highly unlikely as they are clearly depending entirely on the silliness and coverage they get from their IGG campaign).
The fundamental issue is that contributors don't really get anything for their money spent.
It's an ad agency trying to promote themselves by piggy-backing a well known IP - meh. ...
That would be awesome. MC2 was the best in the series IMO.
I used to love R6 MP... particularly the mission in the mansion with the large windows. One team started inside, the other outside...
Same concept, but, when that happened in Gears of war... with 3 or more dead teammates watching you wipe out the entire enemy team single-handedly, your heart rate hits about 130 bpm!
Think I may have done that 2 or 3 times. It was "Epic".
I clicked "Agree" so hard I broke my mouse.
Well said... but, were you extremely high when you wrote this?
Agree 100%...
Can't stop playing Mordor, can't wait to give Destiny away.
Serious faith lost in Bungie. Outside of the tight gameplay mechanics, there just isn't much there. No matter how you slice it.
Yes!
The one w/ the plane and lighthouse?
Epic.
