This is equivalent to the teaser trailer for DMC4 back when there was nothing to show but Dante swinging a sword. It's the type of teaser you see when a game is merely a budding concept. After all of these years you'd have thought we'd get a glimpse of actual gameplay instead of cinemas. I'm disappointed.
I really like this guy, and he's saying the exact same thing I've already said in the past. Gears of War is a two game exclusive deal for the Xbox 360. The third Gears game is going to be on PS3. There's nothing to argue or disagree about here. If M$ wants to keep the series on 360 it's going to cost them an awful lot more money than the first game did.

Is that the original Saturn game scored straight 7s in EGM, so it's only a half point difference. As someone who was a staunch Saturn supporter back then (the N64 wasn't even out and I didn't have Playstation yet)NiGHTS was not some amazing masterpiece that people are trying to make it into. I went through the same thing as you. I bought my unit through Circuit City on launch day, and had to mail it back to them to receive a giftcard for my original purchase amount.
I was worried about losing all of my saved data, so I went out and bought a small 64mb memory card. I transferred my profile, saved game data (DOA4 and Perfect Dark won't transfer), extra Oblivion content and Geometry Wars onto the memory card. I don't think M$ will drop the price until at least spring or summer. Of course you won't be getting 2 free games with the new price drop as well, so does that really make it worth waiting for?
By adding vehicles and now a second enemy type to battle that's let me guess - hostile to both the Helghast and humans? It's a good idea though since it'll break things up a bit. I like how Resistance did it though. There was also another group battling the Chimera as well since you found their dead bodies lying around. It's not until the end where they set the stage that Resistance 2 will have these guys playing a larger role.
Yes Mass Effect belongs to EA now, but M$ is supposedly going to publish all three parts of the trilogy. It's one of those things that essentially could happen, but there's no guarantee it will.
My prediction: PS3 will get Mass Effect, but not until the 360 got Mass Effect 2. In this case M$ would have little to worry about since people who already bought Mass Effect on 360 will continue to buy the 360 versions to keep using their original character.

Last time I checked the guy that designed the PS3 wasn't Jack Tretton. Tretton isn't the guy that decided the original price point, nor is he the guy that forced BluRay into the unit (something that's really looking like it was never needed). Tretton had this thing dumped in his lap, and from what I can see he has done a pretty good job given the situation. As an owner of all systems I personally am one of those that don't see motion controls as a big deal. In fact, I still feel it's just a gimmick that only works well with certain game types. The Wiimote works well in small cases like Wii sports, and mini games, but for everything else, old school controllers work best.
Uncharted, a brand new franchise mind you, managed to sell 170,000 units in what, 8-9 days? The title of this thread seems to try and spin this as if Uncharted failed to sell for an entire month.
Uncharted will most likely join Resistance as a million seller in time because it's the type of game that new PS3 owners and current PS3 owners will eventually buy. Hell, it's the type of game xbots would buy if it were on the 360. Well, maybe not since it doesn't have space marines.

I love how the locales are all unique, and there is literally no place that you can't go. Crackdown is what gaming is all about; pure fun. I want a sequel badly!
I enjoyed Tomb Raider Legend on the 360, and this looks pretty damn good! Hopefully there's a big emphasis on exploring ruins, and killing bloodthirsty wildlife.
As for the Uncharted comparison, get a life. You're a pretty sad "gamer" if you feel the need to choose between them.
Didn't get around to playing the 360 demo. I was too busy playing 360 games to get around to booting it up.
Honestly there are a few panned games that I still plan on getting when the price is right. Lair, Blacksite Area 51, Medal of Honor Airborne, and Bullet Witch are all games I want to play in the future.
I passed on GUN back when it released, but finally picked up a $5 copy of the 360 version on Black Friday. The reviews weren't the best and I'm sure it would've made a list like this on 2005, but I had a blast with it!
I can't wait for this game. This is the type of game that seperates PS3 from Xbox 360. You don't find this type of stuff on a Microsoft platform.
