I can buy a used copy of Anthology for Wii or PS2 (PS3 baby) for another $15. Let's see, one MS game for $10 or Six MS games for $25? Only someone who doesn't own a Wii or PS2/PS3 would pay $10 for this.
Impossible. Anyone claiming otherwise needs better proof than some internet video. But beating a level without using power ups isn't that bad. How much is MS3 anyway? I can buy a used copy of the Anthology (and actually own the games rather than the right to have them play off my hard drvie) for $25.
..just buy the collection on GBA? I played these games when they came out, but in 2007 this just reeks of quickie cash-in.
Despite owning a PS3 and this being a game I'm interested in, I'm not exactly counting the days for it's release. I'm far more interested in God of War 3 or Ninja Gaiden 2. Why would Microsoft feel they need a game to compete with this? In my opinion they already have them.

I had rented it over a year ago and got to chapter 8. I bought the game and started over, and really enjoyed it. Fantastic game but the third round of the final boss fight is busted. I don't even know what combination I used to finally beat him, but I had instances where I landed well over 20 hits and never got the icon notification to grab his jaw piece. I read that there was a glitch in the 360 version of the boss fight. Weird.
Anyway, looking foward to the sequel.
If fighting the same groups of enemies over and over again on painfully linear paths sounds great to you then knock yourself out. The art direction is good, and picking up fallen loot to upgrade your character can be appealing but there's little else worth talking about with this game. Oh, and you can't even block attacks?! After playing this demo I've got a new appreciation for N3 which is far superior to this game, which is guaranteed to hit the bargain bin real fast.

...make it seem like the people in charge of PSN are working hard or something! Deserve a day off? Judging from how late they are getting demos in our hands (if we even get them), I'd say they're spending more time on the golf course and less time doing their jobs.
If PSN is ever supposed to rival the XBL marketplace, then they really need to step it up a notch. I'm not complaining just to complain. I'm complaining because I know Sony can do better, yet doesn't seem to care.

Fewer games of higher quality. Unfortunately it didn't pan out, but they do seem to be trying with Stranglhold and Blacksite. Midway's been in gaming so long that I want to see them succeed like the old days.
..with a demo I got ages ago on the 360, and a Snakeball demo that makes the Burger King games look like AAA games.
If anything the week off should be because the people who are in charge of PSN content got fired and were replaced by chimpanzees who I'm sure could do a better job.
Years ago while working in the electronics dept of a well known retail chain, I was restocking some returns. It was after Christmas when the lines are long and customer service reps aren't as thorough with checking items.
The Sega CD box I was putting back felt odd, so I opened the box to find a bunch of books inside. That took some real guts to pull off such a stunt, but whoever did it got away with it.
...and as they said, it was a niche product. I'm suprised they're doing it again, but I'm guessing they see there's consumer interest for such a product, so I guess you gotta go where the dollar signs are. If they do it, hopefully they do it right and not try launching it with something like Fusion Frenzy 3.
Both of the japanese 360 gamers who want the bundle, will be very happy.
The controls were hideous to the point where I returned the game right away (bought it used). Even if the controls worked well, it was still a mediocre game.
My first and only launch day purchase, Resistance was a very competent shooter, with a concept that's pretty damn cool.
The textures were very weak, but there's nothing else I'd have to complain about. Looking foward to the sequel, which should be awesome considering the way Resistance ended.

...so I'm glad they're doing an Uncharted 2 next. After Uncharted 2 I'd like to see them do a new IP, and then if PS3 is still hanging around by that point, make Jak 4 for the fans before moving on to PS4.
