Ninja Gaiden will do fine since it is the week before MGS4.
If it was released the same week... then yes, you could wonder if it was sent to die... but...
Honestly, if you have a ps3, you are going to buy MGS4. If you only have an xbox, you are going to buy NG. If you have both, you are going to buy MGS4, and maybe NG.
These games cannot really be compared, in any way...
What was shipped, was what was sold. Both versions sold out across Europe, with the 360 version having more shipped than PS3. I am not implying that these are shipped numbers, I am saying that 360 version had more copies shipped on shipments, and thus sold.
We probably will not know the true sales ratio for a few weeks, as what is being shipped it still selling out on both platforms.
You would expect greater that 20%, since the UK install base is larger on the 360....

It would be hard to find someone who owns a ps3 that will not buy Little Big Planet. Everyone I have ever shown this game, completely flips out...
If Sony ever decides to do any marketing, this game might be something really special.
