Ahh gotcha, I thought there was some giveaway or something.
How did you swing it for free?
Gonna probably get back into this game since I never finished it.
I believe that it is due to this unsustainable rise in production costs that more and more companies are looking to AI tools to help ‘lower’ costs.
Yeah he mentioned that in the article.
It might have been spurred on by the DLC, but thankfully these changes apply to the whole game. Similar to how Cyberpunk got major game mechanic improvements ahead of that DLC drop.
This perfectly exemplifies why I choose to wait quite a while to buy ‘new’ games. This meaty patch basically makes the game an improved experience overall from what it originally was. My first impression and experiences of the game will arguably be ‘better’ than it would have been otherwise.
As long as some publishers know that there are people willing to pay extra to play the game earlier than the general release date, this premium will definitely continue to be offered.
I’ll still be waiting for the complete edition to drop. Maybe I’ll get to play it later on this year.
"game sales...are strongest at launch and then begin to slow down"
This is true but 'slow down' doesn't mean that they will stop. Yes, people say sales are 'great' when you have a bunch of them in a short period of time, but aren't those same sales still 'good' if they still reach high sale numbers later on.
FFVII Remake released April 2020, sold 3.5 million in a matter of three days and then went on to sell anoth...
People make assumptions that EVERY PS4 owner that bought FFVII Remake (and liked it) have already upgraded to a PS5 in order to play Rebirth. So when the sales in a certain time period don't at least equal what the first one sold in that same time period, "the franchise is doomed".
When trying to compare apples to apples, they forget that one of the apples is actually an orange :D.
The 'tip' is me buying your game in the first place.
All this fake concern for Sony’s future games is very amusing to me. Because whenever Sony does indeed announce new games from their studios, the usual detractors will just downplay it as more ‘cookie-cutter’ games that they are tired of. And any third-party exclusive titles that get announced also get downplayed because they are not 1st-party titles, as if that is supposed to diminish our enjoyment and excitement for them 😂
Of course I love the games I’ve played from PS but I don’t believe we need to limit it to ‘exclusive’ to acknowledge that Xbox will be releasing some good games this year also. In that same vein, I believe that Xbox diehards shouldn’t limit their acknowledgment of good PS games to 1st party. There are plenty of good games to go around for everybody.
IIRC both have 1080p resolution and 60Hz/fps. The Portal has a 1” bigger screen though (8” vs 7”) and is about $100 cheaper if you can find one without having to seek out a reseller.
I doubt your regular account would get banned for what you posted. There wasn’t any cursing or derogatory comments in that. I’ve seen worse trash talk from many other posters.
The author acts like turn-based RPGs are a dying genre. Recent successful games such as Octopath Traveler series, Sea of Stars, the Trails series, Honkai Star Rail, and Baldurs Gate 3 (mentioned in the article) would prove that there is still market out there hungry for them. I’m blessed enough to love both turn-based and action rpg games.
Which troll are you? lol
I still can’t wrap my head around why people really create alt accounts to talk trash. Haha! Why not just use your regular account since you’ll more or less be saying the same thing?
“Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Has Reportedly Sold About Half of What FF7 Remake Did in the Same Timeframe”
Makes sense to me since the current PS5 base is about half of what the PS4 base was when FFVII Remake released.
There were about 113 million PS4’s in consumers hands worldwide in 2020 when FFVII Remake was released (towards the beginning of COVID lockdown no less).
PS5 sales currently sits at about half of that (50-something million. We...
Atlus is releasing their game one week before Erdtree, SE is releasing theirs one week after.
HZD released four days before Zelda, HFW released one week before Elden Ring.
It seems to me like they are still releasing their games too close to Erdtree.
