He definitely grew on me as the game progressed but I was initially pissed because I was expecting to play as Snake. It was the old bait-and-switch lol.

Pretty good theory I think. They already have the 10-year partnership in place bringing Xbox games to GeForce NOW. They certainly could have other plans for more business in the works.
I'll be on the lookout. I was able to stack my essentials sub for $45/year through 2025. I'm personally not interested in upgrading to extra or premium at this time.
This past Black Friday deal was only for new subscribers, or current subscribers upgrading their subscriptions. There wasn't anything (official) for current subscribers continuing with their current subs.

Technically, it is 2FA but without the need for a second device. It makes it more convenient for the end-user, while handling the 2FA in the background.
I wouldn't mind so much if they were guaranteed to be 'Always Good' or 'Always Fun'.

Only so much as the game has to be 'dumbed' downed from what Series X is fully capable of in order to be able to run decently on the Series S. That is all.
It's going to be a quite a while after launch until I pick the game up as well, but that was always going to be my plan. I'll be waiting for the 'complete' edition to release. Hopefully it will be fully optimized for PS5 at that time.

I’m assuming if Xbox goes with an all-digital console release next-Gen (if they actually do release anything), that will be the official end of their backwards-compatibility for physical games.
It may seem heartless, and it’s especially hard for the ones being laid off (believe me I know) but I don’t believe Phil is being mean just for the hell of it. It is a business that he’s running and his number one job is to generate revenue and increase profits. If it wasn’t him, it’d be whoever else had his job. It just sucks all around but it’s easy to hate on the one not being affected by it.
