I find it amazing how many folks are so harsh on this game. I see that there are some nagging things about chat and parties, maybe lack of force fed story and some other glitches. But how is this different than any other multiplayer game or new IP.
I'm level 22 and still in awe of the game and feel i've only just touched the surface seeing as how i haven't completed Moon, Mars, Venus, Reef...etc... Sure it takes some grinding. I'm really excited to see wha...
Really, who cares. I want my PS4 for awesome games. I'll worry about music later and if SONY wants to market or push their music unlimited service then i'm all for it. All these people worrying about paying an extra $50 a year for music on their PS4 maybe shouldn't be buying a PS4 in the first place and going buy some food for their kids.
They just need to release games
Jeez.....what they need to do is focus on MP DLC
there is so much to love about TLOU but there are sure some things that could have made the experience perfect. Like fixing up some of the AI quirks, and making the game more adhoc in terms of getting around obstacles and the towns.
A Co-Op campaign mode would be somewhat cool as well.
Maybe i'm in the minority but the listening mode was cool but could have made the game without it.
One thing would be cool if they released like a Directo...
This guy is officially smoking crack. PS Vita and Smartglass (or whatever MS does), will over time prove better options than what the gamepad offers. The gamepad can only be used if you are close to the darn console. in my mind that is limited. Over here in 'merika we have big houses.
I'd love to be able to play games when I'm away from home. Nintendo does not offer that through the Gamepad. Sony has, or will have that option, as i'm sure MS will probabl...
I'm not impressed until i see the game running. BF3 became alittle stale to me and I found myself going back to play BF2 or BC2 at times. I love for them to focus alittle more on some strategic smaller game modes that are not so chaotic. Also they better include chat on PC, such a failure with BF3!!
My god, I can't believe they are going straight from BF3 to BF4.
They should have done a BC game or a 2143.
I want to sit here and defend Nintendo and say that the Wii U will end up selling a crap load and that the business model for the Wii U is great but i have trouble seeing that right now. The only thing spectacular about the Wii U is the power consumption and one could argue their Nintendo Network is the next leap in social gaming.
The gamepad, although cool, kind of missed a big opportunity.
They missed an opportunity to do something special overall.
...
@kayoss....even the argument of price point is an invalid one.
The console market and PC market work in totally different ways. Its not apples to apples unless there is a way to normalize it. For example, maybe $1 you spend on a console is equivalent to $2 in the pc market.
I'm not buying the game. Like some folks, I actually waited to see how it was going to come out and if it warranted my time over all the other GREAT games i'm currently investing my time in.
Actually, I tend to disagree somewhat, but not to the point of disagree bubble. I think there has a been a big jump in technology. Alot of it has been in the realm of power consumption, size and architecture.
Iphone was not even on the market when the consoles were released. Now I can do pretty much everything on my Android phone.
IMHO, i feel there are always jumps in tehcnology every few years, it is just never commercially tangible for a couple more yea...
Maybe this wack job can go look at the latest crime stats from the FBI. Last time I checked there were more deaths by blunt items and fist than guns. No, video games were not on the list.
Sure, many folks who play games may have some troubled lives. But folks who don't play games also have troubled lives.
I think its politicians who are the problem.
I wonder how many jobs are created by the video games industry versus the guns industry...
Im getting sick of this whole debate. Who cares about Next-gen, this-gen, that-gen or whatever-gen. Play them all for whatever enjoyment they may bring.
Nintendo has a conservative business strategy and they undertstand better than the others that is about the gameplay and how you interact with your games and not necessarily how many terraflops they can put out. I mean what is even the point to have amazing hardware if it is only utilized to its fullest by a small percent of develo...
Dang, good job Classic200 for being completely ignorant. Ancient Egypt, that of the ruling dynastic part, was pretty much a crossroads of the world back then, so therefore had many various skin colors (bablylonians, libyans, nubians, asiatics....etc). There is a debate about this very thing with a whole gamut of theories. Many other societies like the Nubians and Western African empires were black. Whereas the Eastern and Nile Valley africans were more of a brownish skin color.
b/c we have other things to do in life besides play a game or they got the import version. don't get me wrong I wish i could play it all day and even then, i'd have to take a break to play the crap loads of other games I enjoy.
Wind Waker was great except for all the excessive sailing. It diluted the experience for me somewhat.
For Nintendo, the console business is like gravy! They make a killing on handhelds. Nintendo has a conservative business and they are successful doing that. They will not change any time soon. I feel sorry for folks that have a mental block keeping them from playing good games no matter what the hardware or no matter how colorful a game may be.
Some of Nintendo recent game announcements are pretty sweet and more important for the future, Nintendos internal buisness moves (consolid...
This is a good move.
Also, I can't stand the folks bashing the Wii U and its "underpowered parts". I literally have close to the best PC you can build at the moment and I enjoy playing Cave Story, Trine, Super Meat Boy and other games similar to that (i.e. not graphically intense) and probably play those type of games almost as much as I do the graphically intense games like BF3 or similar. I don't think folks have any perspective. Wake up!
RIGHT ON....BC2!! Love that game, campaign was even fun.
BF3 was probably next most played game just b/c I got into BF2 a bit too late. BF4 is/was way off, having trouble getting into it since launch.
