Kinect's biggest weakness is that it - as far as I've seen - is boring when played alone. Maybe that's the point.
C'mon, we've all seen comments defending Kinect like "It's so fun! Me and my family play it all the time!" and "my buddies love to play this after drinking! It's a blast"...
...but how many people say "Kinect is great! When I'm gaming by myself, I just love to get off the couch, turn off Cal...
Yep. I love the Resistance series. The atmosphere is what does it for me (the storyline has yet to TRULY impress me). I just love how Insomniac strikes a perfect balance between tense, creepy, and interesting at the same time.
Not that I put any stock into Edge's opinion scores (i.e. "reviews"), it's nice to see that even they see LBP2's brilliance. Then again, they rated LBP1 highly, iirc.
Played the MAG Move demo, did not like. Move is fine for other things, just not FPSs.
Frankly, I only enjoyed the "bounding box" method in a slower-paced shooter like Metroid Prime 3. I've never liked it in a reflex shooter.
And the day after that, we'll hint that there will be an exclusive reveal of a sneak peek at a preview of a prequel to a cool game.
That's actually pretty neat. Remember that You're In The Movies game Microsoft made a few years ago? (I know some people would rather forget)
Well, add in this functionality, make a sequel called "You're In The Games" or something like that, and BOOM! That'd be cool.
Even though I do love me some motion controls, I'll always be playing the bulk of my games with a standard controller. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" is my policy, and I don't see why controllers aren't sufficient. Heck, I've played FPSs on PC with the same WASD setup since the mid-90s and I see no reason for adjustment.
I knew it was just a matter of time. Good thing I didn't pick up a 3DTV when my wife and I bought our TV. Hopefully Sony supports the tech instead of continuing to force glasses upon us.
Japanese.
Hot pockets! Can't wait to see what Stardock and this guy cook up.
Everyone needs to play "One Chance" a.s.a.p
Once you beat the game, you cannot replay it.
Gonna wait a bit for 3DS to build up a nice lineup (and possibly iron out any issues in case the launch model has problems).
But I definitely want one! There are simply too many games coming out that I want to play
Well, Lens of Truth finally listened.
In the whole "ME2 comparison" debacle, several users here on N4G said "hey, just do a Fox News and go full fanboy instead of trying to hide it. Then at least we can be entertained"
And LoT listened. Less than 24 hours later, we have a Halo: Reach and Resistance 2 comparison (couldn't have done a Reach vs KZ2, huh?)
What's next? Gears of War 1 vs Uncharted 2? Oh wait...that wou...
IGN has no business talking about "evil companies". They belong to Gamestop, Inc and they have shown an advertising-driven focus instead of a journalistic-integrity-focus time and time again this generation.
Wait. Battlefield 3, or Bad Company 3?
I like both game franchises, but I'd LOVE a proper Battlefield game on consoles!
Advertising.
It's sad that we need an article to talk about - nay, brag about - how an advertising budget is shoving broken technology on the public.
Oh. Associated Content. That explains it...
You're correct. However, incorrectly-spelled titles is hardly the worst thing going on in the industry right now.
My wife and I love boardgame/cardgames. It'd be fun to play this game if it ever came out.
Yeah you're so right!
Anyway, I'm off to go play LBP2 and Dead Space Extraction
oh wai-
Ask yourselves this, Kinect lovers:
If Kinect is selling so well with its CURRENT lineup (i.e. with a flood of casual games), what sort of games do you think Microsoft and 3rd party devs will continue to make for Kinect?
(hint: take a peek at the Wii to find the answer)
