I like how all the bigots are offended by something included in a game where the main quote is "Nothing is true, everything is permitted." I also don't doubt that these same people were playing as Femshep and hooking up with Liara.
As for historical accuracy, do you actually think homosexuality is something new? If so, how do you explain evangelicals constantly saying that the Bible - written over 1,000 years ago- is filled with passages denouncing homosexua...
It could be worse - they could of spent the last 10 years working on it like Skull and Bones after the success of Assassin's Creed 4.
Hopefully the game is good. I'm not going to preorder it and haven't played an AC game since Unity but I find it is ridiculous for some to think we can only ever have a few open-world samurai games and they all have to be released at the same time.
Japanese video game developers depicted Yasuke as a samurai in Nioh so it is pretty funny hearing Japanese people upset with how Yasuke is being portrayed the same way by a western studio.
Nice fail Ubisoft. You'd think after the mess of corporate choices with The Crew and Star Wars Outlaws Ubisoft would actually care about winning gamers back.
@darthv72
Since when did Ubisoft ever claim that their games were 100% historically accurate? Do you actually think that Paul Revere rode single horse with a half-Native American assassin during his midnight run?
As for not thinking anyone is upset, that is an odd statement since you yourself commented on first the post in this article from people upset with Ubisoft having a black samurai.
If you are upset with a video game featuring a black samurai, were you also upset with Nioh and its inclusion of a white samurai? Did you have a problem with Nioh showing William Adams running around with a katana when in reality he was just an advisor who trained Japanese soldiers in the use of cannon and helped construct Western-style ships?
I don't consider them first-party. Just like Kirby isn't first-party and neither is Luigi's Mansion 3.
Ownership of the IP has nothing to do with whether a game is first-party. First-party games are ones that are made by studios owned by a platform maker. I find fans only will try to claim a game as first-party if the game is good. If it is bad, they quickly rush to point out that their preferred company didn't really make it. Star Fox Zero,Mario Tennis...
It's not a first-party game though. Is it really too much to expect these low-rate websites to have the bare minimum of knowledge about the topic that they write about?
This reminds me of the hoops that some diehard Nintendo fans would go through to claim a game (like Bayonetta 2) is first-party just to say Nintendo is pumping out games.
"Han Solo basically created or at least heavily influenced the charming rogue trope." I'm sure Robin Hood and Zorro will thank Jennifer Lawrence - I MEAN HARRISON FORD - for paving the way.
We talking bland like Luke Skywalker or bland like Han Solo? Human characters in Star Wars have always been bland and the scale ranges from kid in bathrobe with shaggy hair to generic male with awesome sidekick and ship.

I hope nobody is surprised by this. Microsoft is a plague upon every industry they touch.
Incels perfectly describe Stellar Blade and the country that created it. South Korea has the lowest birth rate in the world. Like many Asian countries, misogyny is still a problem and women have pretty much given up on relationships with men. It has gotten so bad that the government has just ended a ban on sex dolls so that the men of the country can have something to screw. Stellar Blade is a product of that environment and it amazes me to think that some want the rest of the world to be...
@ocelot07
I think you must be pretty new to gaming if 4" of lace added to a game makes you think we are on a slippery slope where games can change from what you preorder to what you get. This has been happening for decades. Cyberpunk 2077, Starfield, The Last of Us Part 2, Bioshock Infinite, Watchdogs, The Division, No Man's Sky, Killzone 2, Aliens: Colonial Marines, and Fable just to name a few.
Concerned about games being changed post launch?...
@jambola
If you really are concerned about bad practices in the video game industry, why are you perfectly ok with supporting Shift Up - the developers of one of the biggest gacha games on the market? Are excessive MTXs and gambling ok now if the studio puts tits and a nice ass in on of their games?
Why is it that those who complain about people telling video game developers what to do are the first ones to create petitions telling video game developers what to do?
Everything that everyone raved about for months is still in Stellar Blade, but now that one costume was changed those pushing Stellar Blade have lost their minds. It's as if the narrative they created doesn't actually exist and they cannot cope. Do you really think that Sony, who paid millions for ...
Just about every year in the 7th generation was great and something we most likely won't experience again.
2009 for example had Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2, Halo 3: ODST, Killzone 2, Borderlands, Bayonetta, and Demon's Souls to name a few.
What does living in Ukraine or Russia have anything to do with this?
Please describe what exactly the situation is here. These pinups were not in the original Tomb Raider 3 so that means that Embracer Group subsidiary Aspyr added them when they developed the remasters. Did they have authorization to add them to the game? Before this whole "controversy" over the game being censored, the news about the Tomb Raider 1-3 Remasters was critical of them for being di...
Yes, I did check. Smash JT from this article has no other Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered videos except for the one whining about the pinups being removed. Same thing with every other YouTuber I looked at who has been offended by this. They all do have plenty of victim videos and their faux outrage over just about everything that doesn't conform to their social agenda. Being constantly upset is big business in the world today.
You must of completely missed the Wii U.
