They've sprinkled ads across various gaming sites for months and have had a steady stream of content on sites like gametrailers.com to show the game off.
The same issue is happening with Dirt 3 and Red Faction Armageddon which are due out this month and have very little coverage as well.
So is Red Faction Armageddon, but this article picks only 3 games to focus on each month. The games mentioned are the ones getting the most buzz and have the most anticipation around the net. Dirt 3 looks solid though you're right. :)
No demo. They private beta tested it on PS3 a while back, and they've let players get hands on time with it at events like PAX East where the impressions from there were super glowing.
The more you dig into Brink and what the developers have put out on the net you'll see it's doing a LOT to change the way multiplayer FPS are being played right now. From the movement, to the way something like melees don't 1 hit kill you nor do snipers, add on a layer of strategy in the form of class and weapon customization, and keep the game team based to try and change this "rack up 203498309 kills Mr. Lone Wolf," way FPS are being played right now.

I'm excited for this, but I feel it will undermine the impact of a new Zelda game. I almost wish they'd just make it a launch title for the new system, and update everything they can if possible with the extra time given.
Every midnight launch I've been to has always put me right behind the guy who showers the least in his entire life. :(
The suspense of cake in videogame format is serious business.
Not true. You can look at World of Warcraft which is probably the game that's made the most money in the last 5+ years and it's PC only.
Gamers will go to where a quality game is no matter the platform. These games are the console sellers.
It'd be nice to see developers make games that take advantage of each hardware. Start on PC, and scale back down to consoles. If they always followed this route then I think more people would be willing to inve...
Ermac all day everyday. "We are many, you are but one!"
6 hours? That's 2 more hours than Homefront!
Honestly, unless you're playing something like a Bioshock FPS, then 5ish hours is the norm these days. People buying these games for single player are either rich or stupid or both.
Get a room you two. :P
The event was some great news. I'm super excited for the AE DLC and Dragon's Dogma looks right up my alley. :)
LOOK AT ALL DAT JUICE!
I can't wait to beta test this. :)
Really interesting read. It does seem devs just keep trying to smooth out things from the past generations in hopes of getting the formula perfect, but the nostalgia factor makes it almost impossible to make a perfect game as a result.
$5.99? Hell yes! I thought the game was going to be a $9.99 price point, but the 6 dollar price tag is a steal for one of the best games the PS1 had to offer.
My mistake on not having the site name in the title. Fixed it. Thanks for those who pointed it out. :)
Honestly they better have some tricks up their sleeves for this year in exclusivity for the hardcore gamers. I don't mean timed releases, or early DLC, or some stupid crap. I want a game I can't play anywhere else, on this box I paid my money for, and pay for the online service of to feel justified throughout the entire year, not just 1 title at the end of a year.
I am really excited for Gears 3 this year, but I hope we see at least 3 other exclusives that aren't ...
Read the review, and from a more casual approach you hit a lot of the right notes to mention in your write up. However, saying this game has less depth than Street Fighter is not just ignorant it is 100% wrong.
This game has more systems and strategy than any SF game: 3 fighters to manage, picking which assists, picking which hypers, when to tag in tag out, learning unblockables, spacing, push blocking, super jump, x factoring, and so much more. This games pool of possibiliti...
DAT MAAAAAAHVEL BABY!
The snippet here seems they enjoyed the game, but know it won't be everyone's cup of tea. Seems they were also hoping for more features that are becoming staples in other fighters like replay channels and the ability to spectate matches while you wait for your turn in a friends lobby.
I'm excited to get my hands on with it Tuesday. DAT MAHVEL! :D
It wasn't picked over it in anyway. All 3 games are being presented as big hits lined up for May. Brink was the article writers personal choice for something he's most excited for.
