For every person out there who thinks ill of JRPGs this generation and the genre going stale or not evolving/not reaching the same level of awesome as previous gens---we have put our hope in Atlus for Persona 5.
That's probably why that game won't be seen till late 2011 or early 2012. A LOT will be riding on it. Persona 3 and 4 set the bar for PS2 era RPGs. P4 is still the best RPG I've had the pleasure of playing in so long. It has everything stewed to perfection. :)

Gameplay in SF3 is honestly very different than SF4. SF3 had the whole parry system, and the way characters performed for damage output was vastly different too.
That's like saying SF1 is the same as SF4. There'd be no real point to bringing out new iterations of SF unless you try new gameplay mechanics as well as graphical over hauls.

This game is going to be 40 dollars with TONS of new content past just what could have been DLC. When you change 1 character in a fighting game then everyone has to be tweaked properly as well. It's a very hard thing to do.

Everything I've seen of this game off youtube and heard from people over on Neogaf has me 100% convinced. I fully paid this off and I can't wait to play it come release day.
I'm probably the only person on here who'll end up getting God of War 3 a week later for my PS3 then its release day lol. :( I'm just too much of a JRPG fan in comparison to a God of War fan.

If this has online fighting which Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 1 was lacking then consider me sold. The first was an outstanding fighting game and if it would have had online then it would have been incredible.
I'd be upset if I was a European gamer who wanted to play this last year and didn't import it. It's really a shame, because most of us who have enjoyed Blazblue are now foaming at the mouth to get the next installment of Continuum Shift. I can't wait to beat up people as Hazama. :D

Chubear gets its. It's the same reason I'm always scratching my head why Gears of war, Call of Duty, and Halo games NEVER GET DEDICATED SERVERS! It's freaking 2010... it's not expensive and it SHOWS you care about the quality of your online gameplay to the people who purchase your game.
Halo:Reach of ALL games should get dedicated servers. If it doesn't then it shows clearly that Bungie is NOT a AAA developer, but just a money guzzling wannabe.

There's a big list you can chalk up against this game. ESPECIALLY if you compare it to ME1 which is still a much better game in my opinion.
ME2 is about an 8.8 for me, but that's mostly because of how much more was put into ME1 in comparison to ME2.
Things that salter ME2 on its own merits for me are:
1) Planet probing. It's unavoidable if you want to earn a good ending for yourself and not one where you fail and don't have upgraded gear.

The game def. perked my interest and I'm not a Halo fan in anyway. It's about time Halo took some steps forward to go more next gen. I hope the beta isn't more of the same multiplayer, because I will pick up ODST to try it if people spread good word about it.
I can't stress how simple it is to simplify this dilemma of linearity---if you liked Final Fantasy X then you will like FF13. I spent 120 hours with FF13 and almost have platinum, but decided to do it when the English version hits to get the last 2 trophies I need.

I wish they could get Joe Dimagio(spelling?) who does the voice of Marcus Fenix to voice Marcus' multiplayer skin when you pick it. It's weird seeing Marcus a bit smaller than his usual self, but it's much weirder hearing a non rugged voice behind it. :P
One of the best RPGs this gen? You must not play RPGs, you must not be an intelligent person, or you must be a 360 loyalist to the max, because Fable 2 was a SOLID turd of a game. If ever a game felt like the reviews were inflated or had been paid off by Msoft then this was it.

Speaking as someone who has completed it back on my 360, and completed all Star Ocean games, and finds The Second Story as his personal favorite game of all time...I don't recommend this Star Ocean to anyone and everyone in the RPG field. When I do mention it I warn them of the story starting off strong, and then becoming god awful, and the characters become very unlikeable.

Every new trailer just sends my entire body and mind into hype mode. The tease at the end for the new character Hakan made me grin.
I wish Capcom would do fans one last service---move up the date to the start of April. Waiting for this game is driving me nuts!
