I think the premise (humanity on the brink of extinction) is cool. It's tough to make a great story when the hero's basically a blank slate, though.
It would be a rough week. Neither game looks like it's going to be short.
Wei Shen > Aiden Pearce
True, Gives us something to look forward to for Gamescom, though.
Just someone looking to extend their 15 minutes.
It might be tough to fit him into the story even if he was real. Pimpernel seems more like a main character rather than a supporting role.
Yeah, the game's only a month away so they have to say SOMETHING soon.
I don't think all of Tamriel is available at launch (gotta leave something for expansions). But yeah, should be a large world.
Facepunch is looking into other solutions because players are complaining that VAC takes too long.
Eww.
Have they rebalanced the game at all since launch? I was a little disappointed at how street samurais seemed to steamroll everything.
Ballad, Shivering Isles and the Borderlands DLC weren't free, though. The updates to GTA Online are. Instead of selling us new content for GTA Online, they decided to give us free content to make us spend more money on microtransactions. Not saying that it's a better approach but it's their approach.
The only positive thing I can say about the microtransactions is that they're (probably) helping fund new content.
That's a good one. Is anyone actually expecting that game out this year, though?
I thought Watch Dogs was a spring release? Or did that get delayed again?
Geez. What is up with YouTube?
Classy.
"It's up to the gamers to either blindly buy the hype or remain cautious."
Pretty much this. At the end of the day, it's up to the gamer to do their research and decide what's worth their money. If they're at all skeptical, they shouldn't pre-order.
I think it really depends on execution. It doesn't matter how popular the license or the premise is if the game sucks.
One of the most misspelled words in gaming, along with "guerrilla."
