Yeah but to be fair this wasn't anything more than a talk to devs. It's them saying at this point that BC *WAS* a priority and it'll be up to them to ensure that their games are BC.
Basically, PS5 supports it and even helps with it but it'll be up to the devs to guarantee it works with their games. I see no problem with that.
What I'd like to hear when they show PS5 (likely this Summer) is that other generations are supported natively...

It is. I've worked at a Gamestop. The fact that they pay their employees $8 an hour and can barely stay alive is due to a lot of things. Sure. A lot of things happening since 2010-ish that is absolutely of their control. From digital to cloud gaming, out of their hands.

It's an almost entirely outdated measurement for general system graphical power. The only time the number matters these days is if/when there is a massive difference, like 3+ difference. Generally, a machine that outputs 10gfps will have a very similar graphical capability as a system that outputs 8 or 12gfps.

It makes no sense beyond ravenous greed. Their SP games sell a bajillion copies each. GTA4 & 5 made their money back within an hour of release! That's the $100M+ to make it and double that to advertise it. Really consider that for a second: each sale after the first hour of release was pure profit.

None being bad and the top 4 all being 90+/100 games. Five and PW are my least favorite but both were still very good in different ways. I just wasn't a huge fan of the base building stuff, despite loving sim/building games. It didn't click with me in MGS for some reason so the lack of story in 5 hurt a bit and PW has a great story...

For the competition. Which, tbh, I don't agree with. Sony is at their best when they do not care what others are doing. This gen they show the PS4 first, price first and let others scramble to catch up.
